Out of all the plastic films, I have tried so far from Amazon for protecting carpet. This one is the best. It’s also the one with the least amount of coverage overall for the same price. I need two rolls to finish one room, whereas the other brands generally I can finish in one role or even possibly two rooms with one roll.Benefits:It is easier to get off the roll without it sticking to itself, which was a huge hassle with other brands.It actually has a fairly useful thickness that does not puncture super easily like with your finger fingers when you’re pushing itAfter 24 hours, it actually stays stuck to the floor and does not just come up.Does not shrink over time pulling from the edges. I used this on my rental car’s carpet because I have an actively shedding husky-malamute mix (it’s August!!) and had to drive 15 hours in the car with my dog. The rental car company charges a $450 pet hair cleaning fee and I wanted to avoid this as much as possible. This worked wonders!!- it stuck very securely to carpet and plastic in the car but not on the upholstery (I covered upholstery with blankets). I used the whole roll and I think it was well worth it. The rental car company will never even know I had my dog in the car for 15 hours.When it came time to turn the car in, removal of the film was super easy and I walked out of there scotch-free. Thank you for helping me save $450!

I have used this product multiple times and is perfect for keeping ur carpet clean in busy walk areas. Just make sure you don’t leave it on for long as the adhesion can stick and could be difficult to get rid of it. Other than that keep your floors clean from foot traffic with this product. Worth the money and easy to install.

This film worked great for us for moving, kept our brand new carpets protected and movers was able to work efficiently without having to remove their shoes going up and down the stairs. Left no residue after being on for couple days, but it was super tacky and I noticed it did lift our carpet a bit during removal got me worried. Make sure you remove slowly and press down on carpets otherwise it can shift carpets and they may cause buckling. Manual application was not too difficult as long as you follow instructions (basically roll away from you in small 12” sections and use your body weight to press it down as you go.) 50’ got used up quite quickly, we barely had enough for our stairs and hallway and couldn’t protect some of the bedrooms, in hindsight should’ve gotten a bigger roll. Anyways this works as advertised.

I bought a roll of this product a couple of years ago to protect the carpet underneath of our reclining sofas. I was very happy with the quality and durability. We removed it after about a year when we moved, and it came off easily without leaving any residue. Used it again at the new house for the same purpose.I recently purchased a new roll to cover our 11x14 wool area rug in the family room while we house break our new puppy. We used up what was left on the old roll and covered the rest with the new one. The new roll is thinner and has far less adhesion to the rug, though it still works and will serve its purpose. The new roll also has a strong chemical smell that the old roll never had.It's always disappointing when they cheapen the quality of a good product. But over all it is a useful product and still works fine.

It's a little hard to apply because it sticks to itself but with 2 people, it makes it a lot easier and it does it's job of protecting the carpet so well without being a fall risk

We bought this to protect the carpet on our stairs while our kitchen reno takes place with high foot traffic of trade people. It’s not wide enough to cover the whole stair but that didn’t matter for us. It’s easier to apply with two people so it doesn’t create any creases or overlap that causes it to stick to itself. I’ve applied it in one single piece covering all the stairs but found covering each stair in single pieces easier to apply. It lasts about a week before it starts lifting where feet don’t hit it daily (refer to 2nd pic). So far we’ve reapplied it about every week to week and a half. It’s been great to have on hand and a must during renovations!

It is finicky to apply. The instructions suggest applying it in 12" segments. I found it easier to unravel enough to apply pressure with my forearm and started from the top and worked down. At first it did not seem to stick well but once you apply pressure with your feet (after the entire staircase is covered) it stays in place. Ours was on the stairs for over a week and came off easily. I will be ordering more in the future.
