The MacBook Air cover arrived in a sealed cellophane wrapper.The one I ordered was described as ‘sky blue’ and is frosted. Actually the blue shading is minimal and it looks fine on my charcoal coloured MacBook. I guess the frosting means that it will be less prone to showing fingerprints than clear crystalline equivalent covers.What is most important however is that it will protect my MacBook without adding very much weight, and it is indeed very lightweight.The cover was straightforward to fit, and the sizing exact. The material is very slightly flexible which presumably helps when fitting . The base has rubberised feet on each corner which stop the MacBook from slipping.I am guessing that the fact that the plastic is slightly flexible may also give it a longer life. Previous similar covers I have had developed cracks after only a short time and I am wondering if this one might be better in that respect. Only time will tell.When the cover is fitted, the ports on the computer are easily accessible as the cover has large cut outs. Similarly at the back of the base cover so the laptop hinge is not impeded.There is one issue to mention. Unlike other covers that I have had this one has no ventilation slats on the base. I am hoping that this will not cause an overheating issue. My only reason to be concerned about the possibility is that I wonder why the manufacturer of all my previous covers have bothered to build this ventilation into their cover bases. To be fair, this was obvious from the sales picture, it just never occurred to me to look for it on orderingAt its current cost of £14.99 this cover is fairly typically pricedx but I will drop a star from my rating as others at the same price but with ventilation are probably a safer bet.

本ケースはマット仕上げにされているため、MacBook Airに装着しても本体の表面仕上げと同じ反射具合であることから雰囲気をこわさないのが良いですね。工作精度も高く、変な浮きもなくフィットしています。お買い得なMacBook Air向けケースによくある、底面にあけられた放熱目的をうたう謎の多数の穴がないのも良いです。ディスプレイ側ケースの爪は、ディスプレイ中央上部にあったほうが良いと感じました。ディスプレイを閉じた状態からトラックパッド手前の凹部に位置するディスプレイ上部（ケース上部）を持ってディスプレイを展開しようとすると、ケースが歪みます。外れることはありませんが・・・。

MacBook Air 2025でのレビューです。結論から言うと初めからこのケース付けとけば良かったと思えるケースです。ケース自体はそれほど薄くありませんが（一般的なスマホケースのような厚さだと思います。）MacBook Airがスマホと比較すると大きいため、ケースをつけてもそれほど厚みを感じません。むしろ、カバン等に入れた際の小傷が付かない分、初めからケースを付けとけば良かったと思うくらいです。ケースは、ディスプレイ背面側と、本体背面側の2つに分かれています。本体背面側の4か所の足部分は穴あきではなく、足部分もちゃんとケースで保護されている感じです。（写真の通り、ケース側にしっかりした滑り止めが付いています。）ケースをつけた写真もUPしていますが、パット見ケースを付けている事が分からないくらいサイズも見た目もフィットしています。また、写真の通り本体を開いた際の、ケースの爪部分のひっかかりが小さいので、爪部分が目立たず綺麗です。ケースの肌触りもサラサラしており、指紋等も目立たないのでお勧めです。
