Regular cleaning and maintenance of your discs will prolong the life of the disc. You can use the kit on any optical disc such as CD/ DVD/ Blu-Ray/ Data/ Game/ Music discs.
Quick guidance note:
- For regular cleaning of disc, use blue pad and place ~ two drops of disc cleaning fluid (The rectangular bottle) onto right side pad. Perform one operation cycle to complete the cleaning process.
- For reconditioning of disc, three-step operation is required. Begin by performing buffing operation first, use pink pad and perform one operation cycle. Follow by performing repairing operation, use yellow pad and place ~ two drops of repair fluid (The cylindrical bottle) onto the right side pad and perform one operation cycle. Last is to perform cleaning operation, use blue pad and place ~ two drops of disc cleaning fluid (The rectangular bottle) onto right side pad. Perform one operation cycle to complete the cleaning process.
- Recommend brushing off the accumulated dust on the pink buffing pad after each use. Use the provided mini brush and brush in parallel stroke motion to the groove repeatedly to get the dust out cleanly so buffing performance is not affected by this build up of dust.

Normally I'm not big on giving reviews. But I need to make an exception in this case. I had a Series CD from MASH, which would play save one episode. I noticed a minor scratch on the surface, not very deep, that I felt may have been the problem. The rest of the DVD worked fine.I searched the internet for a repair and this one came to the top, plus it was on Amazon. I ordered it and when I received it I read the instructions, which were not very in depth. I followed them and saw that there were many circles on the disk. The instructions said this would happen and not to worry. When I attempted to play my DVD, the DVD player would not recognize the entire disk. It could not be read. I even tried placing the DVD in my PC, with the same result.I wrote to the person listed under amazon and he stated I needed to follow the instructions. When I replied I followed them to the letter he wrote back to clean the heads of the DVD player. After doing that the same result.Now I am now having to buy the entire 8th season again to have a fully working set of DVDs. I would not recommend using, or purchasing, this product if you hope to keep you DVD or CD working.

It has a small footprint and built in storage/Have used for recovery of 3 Blu-ray and 4 DVDs. It has paid for itself already. Very satisfiedHighly recommended

I also purchased the replacement kit. Good thing. Not sure if you can see, but due to packaging, there were divots it the red buffing pads. T this created some pretty deep concentric circles on the CDs. When I replaced them with the pads from the refill kit, the circles definitely were not as defined. You will have circles on you CDs, no doubt . But so far every CD is playing perfectly.

This device allowed me to load an older version of Adobe CS4 rather than rent a newer version of Adobe at a higher Cost now and on into the future. One of the Disks had a small scratch and it repaired it.
