Looked fine out of the box and better mounting system to the box than the old Halo system. Unfortunately, the brass hot wire screw is slightly undersized for the threaded lead it goes into. It stripped out with almost no torque. The steel neutral screw is fine and solid. It is not a standard U.S. size so you can't swap the brass screw out, maybe it's metric. The entire end connector is riveted together so you can't even disassemble it to re-thread the metal lead for a U.S. screw. I'm re-installing Halo trac from 30 years ago after a kitchen remodel and really only needed the cover since I have the old Halo end connector, with nice solid screws. (The old trac, on the back. says Union Made USA, this item was from China). So, if you only need the plastic cover it's ok, otherwise you are going to be screwed.

Be careful with the screws where you attach the 120 vac wiring. Very cheap, stripped out easily. Also it didn't fit the track real well and I had to take it back off, squeeze the track with large pliers to get the little pins to connect with the track copper runners inside. But a quality starter and save yourself the troubleshooting. It should have just came up the first time but noooooo.....I'm experienced, been doing this kind of work for 40 years.
