I didn’t realize that the springs would add a 5 inch lift to a stock truck. I put them on my truck which already had a 4 inch lift block and it was way too high, so I took the block off and put it on top of the spring and then put my overload spring on top of that Seems to be working great so far

Installed on 2001 Ford 7.3L Excursion and all is well! Using these you eliminate the rear factory lift blocks and gave me 4" of lift. Also installed new shackles & U-bolts. Using these along with the Pro-Comp 22210 springs on front is the best most economical way to lift a Excursion! Truck measure 47" from floor to top of wheel arch opening on all 4 corners. Tomorrow have new Iron Man 35" tires mounted! I'm retired and drive 3,000 miles a year so this will last me until I'm dead!

I finally got these installed and what a difference. They raised the rear of my truck up 4 inches and I removed a 2inch block that was previously installed as part of a lift kit. I wanted that block gone. That’s not the right way to lift a truck.I also bought 7/8” diameter u bolts and heavy duty ubolt plates.I was going to install myself but these are too heavy and I didn’t have a way to lift frame up and hold it up. I had a professional spring shop install. They left the overload springs above and below these new springs. See the pic.If you do install this for a lift I highly recommend you get the Rough Country carrier bearing lowering kit that goes on the driveshaft. This levels out the driveshaft to the new height of the truck. My bearing was growling before I added this.Ride is greatly improved!PS truck just barely fits into garage BUT it fits!

Installed on 03 f250 with 7” of block for 13” of lift. Easy straight forward install. I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. Factory shackles roll forward plenty to reach the new springs. Just loosen the bolts and go with it. I took the shackles off with the old springs, put them on the new ones and put them back in by hand by myself. I did get 5” of lift with the factory bed and rear bumper so no extra weight from a flatbed, tools or massive steel bumper.

Lifted my Excursion about 5-1/2”s. Needed new shackles, as the factory ones were destroyed (took a day to get them out...), but these springs fit perfectly, and did what they advertise. If you think you will just “take out your old ones and put these in...” you are in for a rude awakening, but if you have a lift in mind and know what it will take, these are awesome!

Not sure what the people who complained about it lifting the truck expected when they bought 5" lift springs. Lol.Also not sure why the guy said they don't fit. They are shorter becuase they are arched more for lift. Found it easiest to bolt the front in then the axle then the shackle side.I used this for stock replacement. I put these right on the axle and then the lift block on top, spacer for upper over loadleaf, then the overload leaf and plate. Did it this way to still use the upper overload and to take up space for the u bolts. Worked perfect.

I'm impressedLifted as described.Performed better than expected.Usually any leafs have they're own pros and cons. A higher weight rating sacrifices ride and articulation. More articulate springs sacrifice load rating and ride wonky. The 22415 increased all categories. They have a higher load rating than f350 towing package leafs. The ride amazing compared to the factory springs removed. And flex like crazy on very uneven terrain keeping the truck level. This is the 1st truck spring I've ever been 100% satisfied with.I have these on a superduty chase truck. Curb side weighed at 9700 lbs.Stock curb side is just under 6k so these can handle a load.I have never seen a design arched quite like these. If your working alone. Catch the front eye 1st, then the ubolt, then let the weight of the axle down and the shackle play will get you there. Worked well for me. If you go center last your gonna need help, extra jacks and maybe a come_a_long.This is a great product at a great price

I had a hard time figuring out what these do to the height of the truck. After installing them I now understand. These will substantially raise the height of the rear of the truck. They are a good heavy duty spring, but the guy I installed them for had to get hitch drop receivers after their installation. They are well made and heavy duty so no problem there, just be prepared for the height change. Great if your pulling heavy trailers, not so good if you are just driving around town. Price was killer compared to anything else I found.
