Product Description

More than 25 years ago, Princeton introduced its first synthetic sable brush to artists. These high-quality, short handle brushes have the best point and spring of all Princeton synthetics, making them perfect for watercolor painting. Our brushes are designed to drink gulps of water, paint supple strokes and retain their sharp point and crisp edge. The brush filament is made using varying diameters of synthetic sable fiber for terrific spring, enhanced color-holding capacity and a natural snap. This collection features an extensive range of shapes and sizes so you can paint everything from long, thin lines to intricate details to large areas with ease. Heritage artist brushes are more affordable than genuine sable and more durable and dependable than most synthetics hair brushes.

This is the third brush I've purchased from this company--each does the job perfectly. It feels great in my hand; comfortable to paint with and holds my gouache. Love these.

Whoever shipped this just put it in an envelope where it could shift around and sent it. This means that there was some damage to the bristles and to the point. I am hoping to be able to reshape it, but PEOPLE! Treat the brush with respect. It wasn't cheap.

I enjoyed using this in the beginning. Now, it’s a lot of work keeping the line of the bristles straight. They have a tendency to dry curved!

My favorite brush! I’m a watercolor painter and use this all the time for both base layers and glazing. Looking for 2-1/2” flat angled brush that is comparable.
