Your cart is empty.With the unique Prime-Line TH 22253 Window Operator Folding Crank Handle, you never have to worry about your shades and blinds being obstructed by the handle and not sitting flush with the window sill. Constructed of diecast zinc and extremely low-profile, the casement and awning cranks are designed to fit 11/32 inch Truth brand operator spindles and have a 2-9/64 inch reach with a 3-3/32 inch projection. It features a set screw at the base of the handle allowing it to lock onto the spindle, and a swivel knob at the tip for ease of operation, requiring far less torque than traditional low-profile handles. The unique design of the non-handed casement and awning window crank allows it to fold down when not in use. Shades, blinds, shutters and more can go straight down to the window sill without getting caught on the handle. Ideal for plantation shutters, retractable blinds and mini-blinds, the handle easily pulls out from its folded position to open or close the window. The white-enamel finish is baked on, creating a rust and corrosion resistant crank that is engineered to last. Installation is quick and easy, and all mounting hardware is included.

These were exactly what came with our windows when they were installed 10 years ago. Sounds great huh? But NO. I have been replacing these flimsy window cranks, one or two at a time, for 10 years now. Hey if you seldom open your windows these flimsy folding stamped sheet metal crank handles will be fine, but if you frequently open and close large heavy double pane windows, these won't last more than a year or so. My guess is that if you've got large heavy windows, these will open and close them about 100 times before they start to separate at the base, where the cheap little rivet/pin thing is... where it folds down. This time I returned them and am looking for white die cast or aluminium crank handles. Yeah they cost more, and they don't fold, but they are not cheap flimsy folded sheet metal that will break in 100 days (if you open and close a window once a day.

For about 3 years the window handle was broken. Finally found the best one. Fit perfectly on my Pella window and works better then the original. I swapped out all the handles.

Fit perfectly. (Make sure you measure the spline shaft diameter accurately to ensure you get the correct replacements.) Seemed more solid than the original handles.

Awesome. These folding cranks made it possible for us to purchase shades that fall flat against the windowsills. The cranks they replaced did not fold and protruded from the window so much that the shades could not go all the way down. They screw in to the shaft on which the old cranks fit; you can easily adjust them and they fit great. They are full size and they wind easily. You have to generate a slight pull towards yourself while cranking in order to avoid them folding in the middle of closing a window; I'm not sure how this could be avoided with a folding crank, so I did not lower my grade of them because of this. We bought twenty of them and could not be happier with how they work. Whoever invented these did us a great service. Thank you, whoever you are.

The handle of one of my aluminum windows broke, I tried to find a replacement in all the hardware stores here in Montreal, but only Home Depot was selling this handle as a special order for almost $21.00 + taxes.Well I've ordered this handle from Amazon for $13.97 and the product looks exactly and fit perfectly like the one I needed to replace.
