These corners are not 7/16 inch but closer to 5/8 inch. They do not fit 7/16 inch aluminum frame.

Like it no doubt. Doesn't fit my window frame corners maybe my frame is a much older version than the new version of window screens.

Plastic corners on my old screens have become brittle after 30 years of UV exposure. Swapping out corners with these was a cinch. Remove screen gasket on on end of screen only, carefully lift out screen from the groove of that one side only, and you can remove that frame edge, replace both corners on that edge, and reinstall that end of the screen, and gasket, without having to re-stretch the screen. Then repeat process on the opposite end for the other two corners.

I had to guess a little on size as they are not real good at telling you what to measure but they saved my screens!

We have been using a thick clear plastic sheeting with aluminum screen frames for our drafty windows. Works great. So great that my husband ordered more parts to finish the whole house including the basement. No more taped on plastic film we have to reapply each year. And it really keeps out those cold drafts from my old windows.
