This kitchen sink vent cover fit perfectly. Probably because it just happens to be the exact same brand and model that it replaced. I replaced my dingy, scratched and marred old one with this bright, shiny new one for a about four dollars without ever having to leave my house and I'm happy with the results.Note: At this time, the title and feature list on the product page incorrectly state that it is stamped steel with a chrome finish. It is not. It's 100 percent plastic with a chrome finish. I did not deduct any stars for that error because in this application, a kitchen sink, the plastic is better because it will never rust the way stamped steel would eventually do. Considering that, not sure why anyone would want this item to be steel. Its also made in Taiwan, ROC, an ally we are sworn to defend btw.

This item was exactly what I expected and replaced the metal cover I was using. Interestingly, it seems to be of higher quality than the metal cover that was previously installed. This is very nice, and I would recommend to anyone considering purchasing it.

Renting this property for a year and the existing cover was corroded and gross. This quick fix popped right on and will suffice for the time I am here. Of course, it's cheap metal so don't expect longevity. I was happy to find it.

It looks good, the price was very inexpensive. It is made of plastic, and the construction is on par with other similar air gaps. I pulled off the old broken one and put this new one in it's place. It looks likes new.
