Your cart is empty.This 5-pin tumbler lock is constructed of diecast and comes with a nickel plated face and dust cover. A security feature of this lock prevents the key from being removed when in the unlocked position. This feature prevents forgetting the key in the lock, while at the same time ensuring the mailbox is locked every time. It includes a total of 5 zinc plated steel cams, brass pins, a spring steel locking clip, a dust cover to protect the internal pins and springs from dust and moisture in exposed exterior conditions, and 2 keys. To unlock this mailbox lock, the key must rotate 90 degrees in a counter clockwise direction.

I need to first say that I did not buy these for the actual lock. I bought them because of the numerous sizes of arms that attach to the lock. My intent was to use them with another lock that did not come with the correct size arm. In any case, I found one size that would work. The reason for 4 stars is because I still had to make a small tweak (bend) to the correct arm to make them work.

When I installed this, it was great. Now, almost 4 months and the key sticks going in. You have to jiggle it. It'll turn but the key will be stuck when you want to take it out. Good thing it did not cost a lot.

This lock fit the mailbox perfectly, although it looks vastly different than the original lock. It was completely easy to install, after studying the mailbox door for a few minutes. Most importantly this purchase saved me the $25 fee they were going to charge me and the 10 day wait for the lock installer person.
