These Trimline cam locks can mount on most single-hung and double-hung vertical sliding windows constructed of wood, vinyl and aluminum. Each lock features a cam-type mechanism that is designed to draw the keeper in firmly towards the lock, providing your windows with tighter seals, better weatherizing, and increased security. They are constructed of durable diecast zinc, and come in a corrosion-resistant, industry standard white-painted finish to match other existing hardware that may already be in the home. Depending on the size of the sash, these locks can be used as singles or in pairs. Each set includes one lock and keeper, installation fasteners and simple instructions. Installation of these sash locks is easy and can be done with a simple handheld Phillips head screwdriver. Other design features include cam-action fastening and 2-1/4 inch mounting hole centers on both the lock and keeper. These sash locks mount on vertical sliding windows where the checkrails (also known as “meeting rails”) of both the inner and outer sash rest flush. This sash lock is constructed of diecast and comes finished in a powder coat white enamel finish. It features lock alignment guides with 2-1/4 in. mounting hole center spacings on both the keeper and cam-action latch. This sash lock is used on single and double hung windows constructed of wood or vinyl. This sash lock is simple to install and used by many window manufacturers. Installation fasteners are included.

Installed in a snap. I used a steel shim because the window and sash weren't quite lined up and it accommodated that well.

this was the exact replacement for windows. They are a little pricey compared to the others but the others were too wide and did not fit.

Good product. Old locks would not secure windows in position to eliminate bottom gaps on the window sill. These are machined such that when installed and locks I no longer have gaps at top and bottom of the window. 👍

Window lock broke inside. It was made of flimsy plastic and Im sure my other windows will need a replacement as they were installed by a builder and they use the cheapest material but certainly charge a hefty price when building a home. The locks I received were easy to install and were made of metal. I think it was a good value and certainly wasn't expensive. I'm sure I'll be purchasing additional locks in the future.

I installed this window lock and the tab on the smaller fixed part broke off and left it unlocked. Cheap pot metal broke on first use. The add states BUILT TO LAST. That must just be this company's sense of humor. I was able to continue using the lock as my old small fixed part still worked with the larger moving lock part.

We have older vinyl windows. The windows are still in good shape, but the locks had deteriorated in the sunlight to the point where the plastic handles were brittle and snapping. These fit perfectly and were easy to install. Much cheaper than getting new windows.
