Installation is quick and easy, all fasteners necessary are included, and the set is non-handed, allowing it to be used on both left and right-handed patio sliding doors. It is a mortise/hook style and fits 3-15/16 inch hole spacing. The door handle set is constructed of white painted diecast materials with a light stained wood handle, perfect for your white sliding door. The outside pull of this handle set can be converted to an outside locking pull using Prime-Line’s model numbers E 2144, C 1041 or C 1139. *Product Selection Tip: Besides matching the style and type of locking mechanism, the other main specification to match is the measurement of the mounting hole centers, from center-2-center. Easy install, but not quality product.The top screw in the handle started to fall out about 8 months in and had to be retightened weekly. But the kicker was the bottom white part of the handle snapped when opening the door, resulting in the handle hanging by the loose top screw.

I would have given a 5 star, however despite the fact the kits comes with 3 different lengths of screws….back 30 years ago the sliding door thickness was wider…the longest screws did not reach…had to purchase new screws.

This was bought to replace a used and corroded exact same model but in black. It was a perfect fit since it replaced the same exact one but I did notice some scratches on it and the lock is harder to press than my previous one and I don't know why. I like to two materials used because one it matches the door and the wood matches my floor. The install was simple and I did it with only a screwdriver in 10 minutes. Seems solid and I'm sure it will last me a while like my previous one

Says it locks, doesn't. Says it's fast install, comes with no instructions and have to drill product to make fit. Product looks way worse in person. Avoid. More useless junk from Amazon lately.

My apartment complex has an actual grabby handle on the inside of the sliding door for my apartment, but on the outside its one of those flush pull handles. I have fat fingers and carpal tunnel and both made it extremely difficult to open the door from the outside. I asked if maintenance could add a real pull handle for the outside, and they jerry rigged a handle for a cabinet. It didn't work and my fingers didn't fit. I found this online and gave it a try. I used just one of the handles (the one pictured) and used the existing holes from the jerry rigged cabinet handle and had to drill on extra in nearby due to spacing. But it works great, and it's much better than the flush pull handle or the jerry rigged cabinet handle maintenance had put.

I bought this handle set for the one solid white metal piece. My current patio door came with a handle set, however the outdoor piece was solid and my fingers were always getting pinched. I switched it out to the open loop piece from this set and it worked like a charm. The set in all seems built of good quality and it is a fraction of the price from the hardware store. Good overall value.

Installed the handle on our sliding door a few weeks ago, and it's been working great so far. The design is way better than the handle which was installed previously, I really like how far the handle extends out from the door.

That was easy. I really wasn't expecting this handle replacement to be as simple as it was. My sliding door is 29 years old and the old hand was loose and the locking mechanism didn't work well. I was able to swap this handle out in about 5 minutes with only a screw driver. After replacing, I noticed the new back handle requires the mounting holes to be a little bigger than I had. I wasn't ready to drill the holes larger (I will in the future), so I just decided to use the old back-side handle with the new front-side handle. Initially I thought I had an issue because the screws were too long. But this wonderful product included 3 sets of screws and one of the sets was perfect. The locking latch works very well, it is a little tight when I tighten down the screws, but that may be due to me using the old back handle. I will be replacing with the new back handle soon since it looks nice and it counter-sinks into the screw holes. This is probably important to keep the handle from jiggling or coming loose so I will replace soon. But overall this was a simple replacement that looks great and works as I needed. One note: the handle color is not as red as the picture makes it seem. The wood is a light to mid tone color natural wood look
