This is a great quality fabric for rug tufting. It was a sturdy foundation for rug making. The lines were helpful for guiding the design.

great quality cloth for big canvases you don’t need to re stretch as much as monks cloth. And easily let’s your gun slide instead of getting caught up like how monks cloth gets and doesn’t rip easily.

If you are a beginner and on the fence about what type of fabric to use for tufting. GET THIS. I know its a little more money but its worth it. I almost gave up tufting because I started with the wrong type of fabric and I got really discouraged about it... but after reading countless reddit post and watching youtube videos, this one is so much nicer and my gun glides like butter when I'm tufting!

It's tightly woven and strong and easy to use. Seems to be of good quality. We were able to buzz out a couple small test pieces. Make sure there is tension on the fabric so the tufting gun doesn't snag and rip it.
