I used the melt and pour as embeds in my homemade cold processed goat milk soap, and noticed that the embeds sweat a little bit, leaving beads on the melt and pour. Other than that, very happy with my purchase and have purchased more.

This soap is great. It melts with ease in the microwave or a melting pot. Very low bubbles. The soap is great on the skin and rinses cleanly, leaving your skin soft and hydrated.

I cut off a small portion to melt with some shea butter oil and an essential oil. I melted it in a glass measuring cup in the microwave, then stirred in the shea butter oil and several drops of essential oil. It melted great (30 seconds at a time) and the mix-ins blended well. I immediately poured into silicone heart-shaped cupcake molds (smooth sided) and let them sit overnight. They came out perfectly, soap has lathered up great and it isn't getting slimy in between uses. Homemade soap is easier than I thought and my daughter with sensitive skin can use this without breaking the bank. Glycerin soap will not clog drains like other traditional hard soaps and seems more sustainable with less packaging and shipping involved. I have a LOT left to make more and will last a LONG time.

I saw a video short of soap making that incorporated raw aloe and I instantly recalled growing up, the power of raw aloe to fix skin related problems. I challenged myself to gather the needed tools and this soap base was the best price for its size and unscented. My soaps came out beautifully and lathers well and I could feel the aloe combined with the other ingredients I added to enhance the smell. My skin feels great and I won’t have to spend money on expensive cleaners because I have my own face soap to properly deep clean my skin.

My kids were super excited to get soap making kits for gifts, but they turned out awful. I was willing to give it one more try and bought this to make sure we had enough. Totally different experience! Stayed liquid long enough to color multiple times, much easier to work with all around. If you tried a kid soap kit (dinos, unicorns, etc) and hated it, it’s worth trying again with this.

This clear glycerin M&P is super easy to use. I live in the NW- it's cold and rainy but I have never thought of it as "humid." Since starting this hobby in February, I have learned that what makes you feel sweaty is the "Dew Point." So, southeastern states- Florida, Alabama, etc make you feel sweaty, they have a low dew point. If you live in a cold, rainy state- there is high humidity- so, wrap your glycerin M&P bars in plastic!! If you live in Alabama, you might sweat to death- but your soap will be fine!!! This ballerina was an earlier project. It cooled a little faster than I thought and you can see (through the plastic) that it got a little chunky on the top. This clear glycerin is great if you want to embed your soap. The first bar I made was not attractive. I didn't like the shape or the colors. I cut it up and put it in this 4oz mold, poured this clear M&P around it and I can't say its smashing, but way to salvage a less attractive bar. I'd recommend this M&P- just remember to wrap you bar if you live in a humid area!
