Great quality paints in beautiful colors!

The woodland watercolor set was recommended by an art instructor for a fairy project. Having never used these watercolors I was surprised at the ease of use, quality, and color saturation. Great value for the money. Perfect size for travel.

I'm very impressed with this beautiful and cute color pallet from Art Philosophy Woodlands!!!!🥰💕 They have a gourges and vibrant colors! I love it so much! I'm very happy, and no regrets about this! the system cannot allows me to purchase the other set of Art Philosophy Essence, I don't know why... because I'm Prime subscriber. But I think this set is very useful and unique colors. I have a Pastel Vintage and they're amazing too. It's a shame the system fails me in that way. But, I'm happy with this! I highly recommend! You have to try it! if you love to paint landscape, sea landscape, rocks...you name it!💕 defently you need this! They're delicious!

Fantastic quality watercolours, you can’t get these colours anywhere else!

The colors are vibrant and highly pigmented and behave beautifully. I love this little pallet.My gripe is that the pans don’t stay put, so any pressure of the brush slides them around, which detracts significantly from the enjoyment and relaxation of painting. They should have grips on both sides of the bars they sit in, but only have one, which doesn’t secure the pans at all. I took only a star off for that, but it’s really annoying.

Noi abbiamo uno studio di illustrazione, e ormai è una deformazione professionale più che la curiosità di conoscere prodotti sempre nuovi che ci spinge a seguire i vari blog che ne parlano e ad acquistarli.È già qualche anno che vediamo passare video di questi acquerelli "Prima Marketing Watercolor" che inizialmente ci hanno lasciati indifferenti, essendo i prodotti europei di qualità evidentemente superiore.Poi la curiosità, anche in considerazione del prezzo non eccessivo, ci ha spinto ad ordinarli.👉 Innanzitutto va detto che la marca Prima Marketing ha fatto una scelta molto originale: produce ben nove kit di demi-godet diversi, raggruppati sotto nove "tematiche".Li elenco, per comodità:The ClassicsTropicalsDecadent PiesPastel DreamsShimmering LightsOdysseyWoodlandsEssenceVintage Pastels((Complexion))- che è una scelta di doppioni dalle collezioni precedenti.👉 Per quanto ci riguarda questo set "woodlands" è favoloso.Sono colori particolari, molto nebbiosi, di brughiera.Vanno benissimo per chi si occupa di illustrazioni di animali, presentando una tavolozza molto adatta a disegnare le varie tonalità di pelo e le relative ombreggiature, oppure per chi volesse una scatoletta molto compatta facilmente completabile con un magenta, un giallo primario e un oltremare di buona qualità (trasparenti, dato che questi colori non lo sono moltissimo) in modo da avere in pochissimo spazio una scelta di colori completa ma non standard.(La foto della palette allegata è rispondente alla realtà).👉 Per chi volesse saperlo, è meglio precisare che no: non sono gli "acquerelli professionali" che un bravo acquerellista si aspetterebbe; da qui i molti pareri negativi che si trovano sul web.A nostro avviso, possono essere definiti "acquerelli per illustrazione": da mediamente a molto coprenti, sono abbastanza opachi e granulosi, anche se nella stesura risultano molto pigmentati.Si sfumano e si miscelano bene "ma non benissimo" 😉: non li diremmo adatti alle velature impalpabili ricercate dagli acquarellisti tradizionali, ma ai contrasti vibranti delle illustrazioni moderne, sia rivolta all'infanzia che al pubblico adulto.Sono acquerelli di alta qualità modernamente intesa, ecco.Detto questo, ho eseguito un bozzetto veloce su una cartaccia infame del Tiger, che allego.💣 (A questo proposito ricordo l'importanza di acquistare una carta da acquerello di buon livello, fattore paradossalmente più importante della qualità degli stessi acquerelli: qui su Amazon ne trovate un'ampia scelta, basta evitare, se proprio non vi serve per fare semplici cartoline di auguri, di comprare una carta di marca sconosciuta...).💎 Consigliamo quindi questi acquerelli a chi, possedendo già i colori primari di livello professionale (che si possono inserire agevolmente nella parte centrale di questa stessa palette la cui costruzione è tra le più intelligenti che siano in commercio: da notare il comodissimo ma non scontato bordino di una delle parti ribaltabili per le miscele di colore, la cui immagine abbiamo allegato tra le foto), voglia integrarli con colori dalle tonalità molto ricercate, oseremmo dire "di classe".👉 Oltre alla scatola intelligente, è presente il numero del colore stampigliato su ogni demi-godet: purtroppo però non sembra che i singoli colori possano essere acquistati separatamente se ne finisse uno solo.👉 Altro aspetto negativo: non è presente la composizione dei colori, fatto che riteniamo abbastanza inspiegabile.A noi questa scelta di colori, le loro caratteristiche intrinseche, senza dimenticare il rapporto qualità/prezzo, piacciono molto, quindi assegnamo senza dubbio cinque stelle.

i’ve just started getting into watercolor this month! this is the first prima confections palette i’ve gotten. i was using the kuretake gansai tanbi set but wanted to use some western watercolors and decided to try these out1) i love the color selection; all the pigments are deep and vibrant! the pans reactivate really easily. greystone is such a nice soft grey.... daylight is also a beautiful yellow, though i’ve only had a chance to swatch it.2) i also love the size and how compact it is! i’ve been bringing it to work to paint on my free time. it’s super easy to set up a little area on my desk now, and the built in mixing palette is invaluable to the convenience factor in the design.3) the paints dry fairly quickly as well (i’ve been using strathmore 400 series cold press wc paper) so i can wait just a minute or less for the page to dry before moving in for another layer. even when i’m finished painting, i only have to wait a few minutes for the palette itself (and mixing area) to finish drying before i can close it;; though this may have to do with the smaller amounts of water i use to mix pigments (at least for my smaller pieces where i don’t have to mix a bunch of one color)another thing to note is some of the colors sometimes leave slight textures (which i think look beautiful, especially for use on landscapes, so no qualms from me there).i am super happy with this purchase and will probably be nabbing other confections palettes in the future :)

This is my second set of Prima Watercolor Confections (Pastel Dreams being the first) and I now swear by them. The colours are rich and vibrant and the set doesn't break the bank like some other brands do. I'm by no means a professional artist, so I cannot argue with those who feel that Prima is more student-grade than artist-grade, but I find it a better quality than student-grade and I'm perfectly happy with the outcome. Woodlands is not quite as creamy as Pastel Dreams and dries a bit more quickly, but I love the colour palette and find a lot of variations to play with when I'm trying to paint a landscape. My only thought for improvement would be that I wish there were more shades of green, but I guess palettes like Terrain have that covered.
