This is the first review I’ve ever written. It takes a little to impress me. I placed this on a Starcaster as a “vintage” project. The quality of the sound is great. Best value and change for a guitar I’ve ever come across.

(Before and after) I was hesitant to purchase because I didn’t expect it to fit…however, upon arrival, it fit (not 100 % perfect but fine enough to just have to only drill a few of the screws in). I wanted to get more crisp sound from an old Strat that the input connector broke so I had to get into it anyway. I figured I’d try something new! You only have to solder the back, ground wire and the hot and ground wires for the input and that’s all! Worth every penny! Blown away by the sound! I would be giving it 5 starts but I can tell the pick guard isn’t very high quality but did not skip on sound! Definitely recommend to anyone that wants their Strat to sound a little more like a Les Paul on the bridge and like a strat on the neck (gives more versatility out of one guitar!) Easy to install! Took a total of an hour from start to play!

It was an improvement to my sound, however. Mounting holes didn't line up, and pick guard scratches too easy.

I couldn't be happier on this product. The pickups sound great. What a difference it makes from the factory ceramic pickups. I would recommend to anyone!

I bought an Irin white strat guitar on Amazon in 2020. The guitar originally was super cheap. I must have paid $68 for it, shipped. Body mainly made out of Basswood and acrylic. The pickup network on it was either working okay or not working that well. I got frustrated with it, but my investment was crazy-low. I decided that rather than throw it away, I looked at pickups and noticed this unit, a complete pickup and pickguard replacement set by Ogdni. Right away, I noticed I had to route away some of the inner spaces because my original pickups were so cheap, they only occupied about an inch of width and this pickguard was slightly different. Quick few chips out with a Dremel and this went in without a hitch and I soldered it quickly. On testing, the pickups sounded great and had good sensitivity without being wooly or thin-sounding. This supercharged this guitar which was originally only to be a practice piece. I can just about gig with this if I wanted to. You may have to modify your guitar a little, but if I plan to make another project guitar from pieces as another strat, I would get this again in a heartbeat. If your strat is acting flakey and the sound is trash, get this! The value is a good match for Squiers and China doll strats.

Bought this for a Strat build, I have built 5 guitars with fender, Seymour Duncan and Wilkinson pickups, as well as have a high end Les Paul and a custom telecaster with Seymour Duncan pickups, this easily competes with the best. I played all 8 of my electric guitars with the same amp settings back to back and I can say the one with these pickups actually sounds the best with clean amp settings, better than my Les Paul and my fender build with fender brand pickups, amazing bang for your buck, I initially bought it for my cheaper builds but after trying all of my guitars to see the sound difference I honestly like this guitar the best (for clean sounds) price isn’t a concern i would buy whatever sounds best for my high end builds and I will be using this one in some higher end builds in the future before spending 500 on fender to sound just as good

And although I had to drill a few holes in the body, to make it fit, I am NOT complaining. This rig sounds AWESOME !!! Sounds better then my brothers USA made Fender Strat ! If I had another strat, I'd buy another one. Thats for sure !!!

These pickups sound amazing. Handle clean and distorted tones very well. I did end up switching the pickguard, covers and knobs because I prefer white as opposed to parchment or off white, so it will look different out of the box. Very impressed with these pickups though, especially for the price.
