If you have a decent shop and use air tools you, like me probably have a coffee can of wore out air chucks, that need to be thrown away. Not to say that these won't wear out. But they are a very nice chuck. Expensive but nice. I probably should buy a couple more.

I’ve been using these fittings probably 12 years before they were being sold online. I purchased my first ones from my tool guys that come around on the trucks to the shop. and I’ve never used a regular style air fitting again. These quick disconnects are without a shadow of a doubt the easiest and best thing any tool company has come up with in the past 20 years for connecting and disconnecting air tools. So easy, just buy one.The blue ones work well, I haven’t used the multi use ones that you can connect any style of fitting yet, but I’m sure they work in roughly the same manner. Just look for the half decent quality brands.

Found this and snatched it up after having used them and loved them when I worked in an auto shop. QD is much more convenient when your fumbling around on the ground and can only use one hand at a time. Make sure you know what fittings you have, though, as this is an automotive or T style and won’t work on some tools with fittings preinstalled or included in some package deals. Nevertheless, you can find fittings for this at any home improvement or parts store for a reasonable price. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Works great! I originally bought 2 of these from the matco man for $45 each. I no longer have a Matco man so I did some online research and found these on here for $16 each! I ordered 2 more. I love them. These are a automotive style plug: Also know as a Truflate, Type T, or C-style. These will only work with these fittings. I’ve had them for 2 years now with no leaks, breaks or any other problems to speak of!

I like these more than any other couplers, but you should be aware that they develop leaks where the metal part and plastic body meet. Usually not a big leak, just a slight one. That's still better than the other ones you can buy though, so I still like these.

I bought this mainly because my wife has difficulty removing tools from a pressurized air line. But now that I've used it for a while, I just ordered three more for my other air outlets. This item, if used properly, makes connect and disconnect almost as easy as if the hose had no pressure in it. Bonus - my wife can now check her own tire pressures! One caveat - this coupler works perfectly with American made T-style nipples such as those sold by Milton, Tru-Flate, etc. The Chinese cheapies are a bit shorter and are a real bear to use with this coupler. Note - there's a small open hole on the side opposite the red button. This is the vent hole, and you need to keep from blocking it with your fingers when attaching or detaching.

I have been an ASE Master technician for more than 15 years. These are the only couplers that hold up to the abuse of a proffesional Technician. The ease of on and off beats everything out there. They will eventually wear after 5 years, but for $20 it's worth every penny. Try going back to a generic coupler after using this for many years, you will be fighting it. If you are a professional that will be using air tools everyday, get one of these! Your hands will thank you.
