This green summer blend works great. Really helps to remove bugs off the windscreen. The orange winter stuff is horrible.

This is fine quality and right now I can't find it in the autoparts or hardware stores. This seller provided at a reasonable price while many others are taking advantage of shortage and asking ridiculous prices. Nice some vendors are fair even when supply and demand on their side.

I found another store's listing of this product, and it shows that this product has 40% volatile organic compounds. VOCs produce smog in the summer. Since I have an asthmatic family member who would be heavily hurt by smog, I cannot in good conscience use this product. Due to the high VOC content, this product is banned in California, even in mountainous regions where winter fluids with 25% VOCs are allowed because methyl alcohol, a VOC that is used in winter fluids, is an effective antifreeze that will not become solid unlike salts if the water evaporates. Buy a product with low VOC content for summer if you do not want a troubled conscience. This product states "Not for sale in California" on its back. Products with high VOCs are acceptable only in winter when smog does not form due to the lower temperature. This is a summer fluid with high VOCs, so it is unacceptable any time.

I occasionally drive across the state of Washington. In the summer, my windshield gets so encrusted with bugs that It's hard to see through and a little dangerous. Sometimes it gets so bad, I stop for gas just to clean off the windshield. So when I ran low on wiper washer fluid, I decided to try this stuff. I siphoned the washer fluid tank dry and filled it with this bug wash stuff. It's an ok washer fluid, but in no way did it touch the cross state windshield bug fest - it was just as bug coated ever. The wintertime washer fluid (also Prestone) that I had before worked just as well (i.e. not well on bugs). So, bottom-line - this is OK washer fluid, but it's not the anti-bug miracle they would have you believe. Art
