I got this to teach my toddler about reflexes. I do not know why this one requires sharp edges on the handle and an end that could be used as a weapon, but here we are. In the attached picture I used the handle to score the cardboard packaging, and unintentionally punctured right through. I am still giving it a good rating as my use is clearly off-label.

After attempting to use my hand to check reflexes for years I've finally caved and bought this to use at work. And man, it makes things easier! It feels nice and sturdy in my hand and a lot better quality than the reflex hammers we got as 'nursing week gifts' this past May. Would recommend.

I have to check DTR sometimes and majority of the time I have to track one of these down so I just bought one for myself and makes life easier. Not too heavy either. I keep it in my scrub pocket all day

I got this to use for my practicals in PT school and I have loved it. The rubber is a nice bouncy consistency while being smooth to the touch. It is attached to the handle well and I don’t feel like it is going to fly off or rock when moving. The handle is comfortable and looks sleek with the blue. Works perfect and is a great price

More than enough for everyday clinic life of a resident. Plus it will be invisible in your pockets, looks cool and doesn’t hurt the patients by checking the reflexes.Only checking the Babinski reflex is still unpleasant for patients, because of very sharp ending.

Excellent tool! Good weight, hard rubber head and a slick black design. My go to for neurological exams now replacing my queen square hammer. Fits in my pocket perfectly. Also a good pointed tip for plantar reflexes. Requires an elegant technique for an effective swing but is easy to get used to.
