This particular product is the epidemy of "cheap Chinese import product." It's priced very low and you get what you pay for. The board is exceptionally thin cardboard, so if you have kids that tend to be a little rough with their toys, this is NOT a good choice for your family. I would put this in the category of "disposable games" - that's about the quality of product you receive. Even the box it comes in is cheap - more like heavy gauge paper than cardboard. Anyway, still useful for some situations, just don't buy this thinking it's going to last very long!

Great classic game but board is extremely flimsy, and chips feel cheap perhaps I’m remembering and comparing to the original board we used as kids. Overall it does the job and we still had fun.

I knew they were making games cheaper but this was ridiculous. The top lid was fine. The bottom box was made out of the thinest cardboard, like a shirt wrapping box. The game board looks nice but is very thin. It does lay flat but if kids were handling this it would be bent/broken and in the trash within a year. The checker pieces are thin and do not stack well. They do stack but while playing, both my daughter and I had the upper piece slip from our hand while trying to stack and knock other pieces off the board. This is pure junk. Why the 5 stars? So this wouldn't get buried. Can you play the game? Absolutely. Was it frustrating? Yup. I would gladly spend a few more bucks to get a product that was better quality. I would be embarrassed to give this as a gift. It's that bad.

It's a checkers board. The size is right for the board. The checkers are on the dinky side. They don't stack well.Pros: Price, Very low cost option.I figured for the price I wouldn't expect much and I was right.Cons: The board is very thin but usable. Checkers are thin and small plastic pieces with a molded crown on one side. I would NOT recommend this to be near small children.I knew what I was buying so I am not docking any any stars. It is as advertised.

I had one of these when I was a kid - solid pieces, thick board and a good box. This POS is the total opposite - flimsy box, the board is a joke and the pieces are so thin you can almost see through them. WASTE of $$$ avoid this and buy another. Regret this purchase.
