Works great! As a longtime bedroom guitar player set up was simple- Plug into laptop-Run a Ampero mini into it with a couple KRK Rockit 5s and I couldn't ask for more.

The interface seems to work well for the price. I have yet to use it to record. I just needed it for playback with my monitors for now.

Got this interface for my digital piano setup. Connected my piano via USB to MacBook, then MacBook to Studio 24c via USB-C. From there, output goes to my TubePre v2 preamp and HP4 headphone amp.The Studio 24c handles both audio and MIDI perfectly. Front panel has clear metering and the combo inputs accept both XLR and 1/4" cables. Direct monitoring lets me play without latency, and the build quality is sturdy with metal construction.Using this with Pianoteq 8.4 through my MacBook significantly improved my piano's sound quality compared to direct headphone output. Good value for home piano enthusiasts looking to upgrade their audio chain.

This is my 4th Presonus Audio Interface over 20 years. Not because they are going bad (just the first one), but because they sound great, are easy to work with, and just nail my needs. This thing has more holes than swiss cheese. Holes for rack mounts, holes for multiple pairs of headphones, holes for instruments, synths, and microphones all at the same time. I have two microphones plugged in ready to go, my Roland SP 404 Mk2 plugged in to send and receive audio (in and out), as well as my stereo guitar rig. I still have 4 inputs available for anything! The knobs feel smooth. The buttons feel nice and have a little give on them so you FEEL like you are pressing something. Having all the controls on the front and most of the inputs and outputs on the back is convenient. Everything that you need is always within arms reach.

I was having a couple different issues with my previous interface so I was greatly in need of a replacement. Issues were poor latency (no built-in ASIO drivers for Windows) and no multi client support (also could have been resolved with native ASIO drivers). Ordered this little box from Presonus (I also use Studio One), swapped drivers on my PC, swapped cable routing, assigned the Presonus interface as my primary in and out for Window sound (I also (optionally) disabled ever other audio in and out) then selected the interface in Studio One. *I did also disable a couple unused plugins from with Studio One's settings to get everything working 100%. It's been smooth sailing ever since. I have zero-latency monitoring of my DAW as well as all system sound at the same time and I don't have to run any workaround software or mods. I no longer feel limited by my audio hardware. I had looked at getting one of these years ago. I wish I had. It would have saved me hours of frustration over those years.

I did a lot of research, and if you're reading my review you've probably read them too: top 5, Top 20 USBC Interfaces. This being a USB2 interface, with USBC ports I was a little skeptical. However do you need the power? I didn't from a full-fledged USB3 or Thunderbolt interface. I was replacing an existing USB2 unit (the Steinberg UR28M which reaches end of support from the next Mac OS upgrade after Monterey apparently.) All this aside: On the Mac Studio (M1 Max) this unit is exceptional. Just blows my mind on every level. The sound quality far surpassed my expectations. The difference was breathtaking just plugging in my Neumann BCM-104 and a couple of line inputs - yea, no direct monitoring...for the price expected. But the sturdy quality - the amazing 3.3ms latency really met my needs. For the price-and exceeding expectations: five stars.I will reinforce that the Universal Control software is a bit clunky - irritating things like not being able to easily reset faders to 0, things like that. But for actually controlling the interface- it worked great on my Mac Studio over Cubase 12, Ableton and Wavelab (all latest revs at the time of this review.). The iPad Universal Control app was a really cool, and useful addition too!A win for the price! A win for pretty efficient delivery with Amazon as usual!

I like the presonus 24c.the four meters are great, two for the inputs, and two for the mains. The mains are useful when using the headphone jack. The inputs are useful for quick gain adjustments. The idea of a single USB-C port for both power and data is great. But in practice, I found it somewhat wanting. With a laptop, it's actually very nice as it's a single cable for both, and the sound stays very clean. But for connecting to a tablet, it's less useful. iPads don't send out enough power through the lightning port or the new usb-c port to power up the 24c. So, you need some kind of hub in between that handles both powering and data pass-through to the iPad. I don't have any such hubs, but even if I bought one, it's one more thing to carry. If I have to run off a usb battery, then that's 4 things to carry, not including the mic and headphones. So, I would have preferred split ports with the option to run data and power through a single port, or the option to run data through one port and power through another. A simple toggle switch to determine which is preferred.A lot of audio interfaces in the same price range do this. Those devices use older USB interfaces, and frankly, for those devices, the single-port-for-both-power-and-data options is not good, nowhere near the cleanliness of the presonus. But still, I would prefer that choice.I also with the xlr inputs were in the back and the headphone jack was in the front. Seems like most interfaces have the xlr inputs in the front. Not something I prefer, but oh well.Though this may be a lot to ask for such a cost effective device, it would have been nice to have a couple of HPF options and a couple of limiter options. But for the price, maybe that's pushing the desire a bit. I currently have a sound devices 302 in front of the presonus to handle HPF and limiter duties. A rather expensive way to go, but it works well. All in all, a great little device. clean sound, easy to use potentiometers, simple button for phantom powering, indicator for USB power on. For under $200, damn impressive.
