When I'm teaching, I always have a laser pointer in my hand. My kids used to joke they'd get a free period if my pointer died, and they might have been right, except they didn't know I keep a spare in my backpack. But now I use LibreOffice and PowerPoint and Google Presentations instead of an overhead projector. This one is very lightweight, fits great in my hand and in a shirt pocket, and works exactly the way I want. It has the usual buttons: forward, page up/down, volume up/down, and laser.Instead of Bluetooth and need to be sync'ed, it has a dongle, which is much easier with a borrowed PC. The dongle goes in the "butt" end of the pointer (you almost have to know it's there), is held in place magnetically, just strongly enough that I'd be really surprised if it came out accidentally, but it's still easy to pull out. And it has USB-A (old-fashioned rectangular) and also USB-C plugs, so you can probably even use it with your phone.I tested it with a half-charged rechargeable battery (it takes 1 AAA), equivalent to an alkaline with about 5% left, and even then, the presentation buttons worked up to 20 feet away. The laser is extremely bright: it throws a bright dot even on a dark surface 50' away in a well-lit room, and is visible outdoors to about 20'. I'm sure it works well indoors at 100 and probably 200 feet, and further in a darkened room, but I can't test that. There's an on/off slider, which prevents accidental button presses in a bag, and even more important, when you turn it off, the battery won't eventually run down and leak as always happens with a "soft" switch. It says it's compatible with almost anything, and it should be. Here's how to know: it connects as a keyboard called "Wireless Present". It sends a "Tab" key with the "next screen" button, which does a "next page" for all the software listed on the product page, so if you can do what you want with some combinations of the Tab, Page-Up, Page-Down, Volume-Up, and Volume-Down keys on a keyboard, this will do what you want. Also, though in the course of a normal presentation you wouldn't need them, holding the "next screen" button will let you select a different application in Windows (like w/Alt-Tab), and double-clicking it sends an Enter key. The only thing I might wish for is also to be able to send a Space, which could start/stop YouTube and Pandora.

My cat's got a kick out of the red laser pointer so that was a good fun few minutes of my life. This thing takes AAA batteries and only one battery to be exact. It's got two side buttons that control volume a plus and a minus (I'm assuming) and then there's an on and off switch on the leftmost side.I don't know why. When I saw this online I figured it'd be a little bit more robust, but it feels more like one of those plastic remotes for a Roku or something. The buttons are soft to the touch and they don't protrude too far off the surface of the top of this thing and it also has a little clip on the top of it as well so you can gently tuck it into a binder without worrying about losing it. I do like the hidden feature of where they put the USB and USB-C plug in for this thing.

Perfect for teachers. This presentation clicker can be used with either a USB-b or a USB-c port. It also clips onto your lanyard or top easily making it easy to keep on you when teaching.

I don't have anything negative to say about this little clicker, particularly for the price. It was truly plug-and-play with my Windows PC, the laser pointer is halfway decent for a cheap clicker, and the very small size of the device means it doesn't take up too much room in my laptop bag.I can't speak to long-term durability, but for now, I'm pretty happy with this clicker.

Works great and feels like good quality. I like that it has USB and USB-C to connect it to the computer. I do regret getting it though because I realized after that there is one exactly like this with an air mouse feature. It is what it is though.

This presentation remote includes a two-headed USB A/C receiver stored magnetically at the bottom of the remote. It is slender and lightweight. There are up (previous slide) and down (next slide) buttons, a cat-approved red laser pointer, tab button, power on/off and volume up/down buttons. If you hold the up button, it starts and stops the presentation. If you hold the down button, it blanks and unblanks the screen when the presentation is running. It is powered by a single AAA battery (not included).Good value for the money.

I like how this clicker and laser pointer is basically future proof. It’s powered by a AAA battery (included) and plugs in with the USB receiver, which fits into either a usb-a or a usb-c. The pointer works just fine, and the clicker does as well. This is perfect for meetings and presentations and beyond easy to use.

As a teacher, this slim, pocket-friendly presentation clicker is a game-changer and a huge upgrade from constantly clicking on my laptop during lessons. It’s lightweight, fits easily in my pocket, and has a super-fast response time, so switching slides feels seamless. The dual connectivity options make it versatile for different devices, and while it does take batteries, it’s a small trade-off for how convenient and reliable it is. This clicker makes teaching smoother and more professional, and I highly recommend it!
