In 50 years of owning various salt/pepper grinders, these are the best. They work very smoothly, are easy to manoeuver, dispense a nice amount without too much twisting, and also look very pretty with their copper finish. I've gifted them to others because I like mine so much. They come with a wooden tray that I figured I wouldn't use, but it's actually great and I'm so glad to have it. I also figured the magnetic lids would be superfluous, something I wouldn't use, but I love them too! Whoever engineered these grinders did a phenomenal job and I'm impressed.

REALLY nice salt/pepper shaker set…the magnetic attachment for the lids is a nice touch. Smooth grinding action for both.

I love how nice these look with the little wooden tray and covers for each. But I super love that they work great!!! I have somehow had so many issues with others. I would buy these again for others.

I am ecstatic I ordered these. They are super easy to use. The magnetic top comes off easily and goes back on easily, the quality glass jars holding the salt/pepper corns are solid quality glass and easy to wash. The grinding mechanism works perfectly. The bamboo base prevents any loose bits and looks great too. Love the copper color. Matches perfectly with my earth toned kitchen. Highly recommend.

I really like the sleek appearance and the ease of use of these!! The magnetic top is great too for keeping extra ground salt/pepper fresh!! I also really like the size and being able to see how much is in the container so I know when I am running low.

I've bought and returned about 5 grinder sets over the past couple of years as they've all proven to be useless! They've all been well known brands and not at all cheap, but none of them have actually ground pepper (in particular) - when an item has one job to do and it doesn't do it, it's frustrating! I was after a copper set as a copper wedding anniversary gift for my husband and I, and this set is so pretty. Very elegant, sturdy and classy, but at a very reasonable price. Most grinders have the mechanism open at the bottom, so salt and pepper make a mess everywhere and condensation gets in. These have the mechanism on the top and under a lid - brilliant! The lids are slightly magnetic so come on and off really nicely and feel firm. The both grind beautifully, and you can alter the grain size too. So far so good - I love them!

These are a nice set of grinders including a nice wood stand/holder. First thing I noticed is that if you want to pick up the holder and grinders to move them to your table or whatever, you've got to be careful how you do it. The grinders will fall out of the shallow holder very easily. Also, I always wash things like this before the first use. It's not the fault of the grinders, but they were very difficult to get them completely dried out even after putting them in a warming drawer at 90 degrees for several hours. I decided to take them apart to ensure they were dry before loading them up with salt and pepper. Bad idea. I'm not sure exactly what I could have done, but when re-assembling them, I noticed that the metal(?) ring separating the glass container from the grinder had become very loose making it very difficult to get the grinder screwed onto the container as tightly as it should have been. I think that the rings either expanded somewhat in the warmer or they're secured with some kind of adhesive that failed in that little bit of added heat.Still, they work well, and I just have to be pretty careful when refilling the containers to ensure that the grinder tops are screwed back on tightly. Lesson: don't heat them in a warming drawer to dry them out.
