Great for converting your own shoes to dance shoes. I do primarily swing dancing, and although I've also spent my share of $$ on dance shoes, sometimes I just want to be able to dance in a fun pair of sneakers or that perfectly fitting pair of dress shoes that I found in a shop somewhere. This is easy and economical and holds up really well to hours of dancing. I also like the variety of colors available, to be able to match the suede to the shoe.

It is a great and easy to use suede. I bought it to line up inside my sandals. It feels nice to the feet and it doesn’t leak dye. Super easy to glue on. Not messy.

Every claim about the product that the seller makes is false. This is NOT suede leather as claimed, very clearly synthetic, complete with chemical smell. No "leather" smell at all. Also the claimed thickness of the product is way off. It's so thin, probably not even a quarter of a millimeter.I'm a professional dancer and own at least 12 pairs of dance shoes, all with suede leather soles so I know what I'm talking about, don't waste your time with this. Returning it immediately.

Crappy product lasted less than 10 minutes on my shoes. What a waste of $50!

I have been buying these sheets of suede for several years now, to cut and use on the soles of some really soft, plush slipper socks that I buy on Amazon, just to help the soles last longer. And these really do work, they adhere and have never once come off or even loosened around the edges, even when I toss the slippers in the washer and dryer. So they may work for ballet slippers or whatever they are really intended for, but they are perfect for adding a thicker sole to any footwear that you may wear around the house

I used this for a pair of platform sneakers for social dancing. It works when I tested it for spins. Will see how well it holds up.

(For dancer reference, I am using this on a pair of Keds, for lindy hop, on a polished hard-wood floor.) I literally couldn't be happier with this. I expected to just have to make do with what showed up, being desperate to reduce the friction on my current shoes, but this is better than if I'd taken them to get sueded by a cobbler. Exceedingly easy to apply, and I was able to wear my dance shoes for a whole night of dancing rather than changing to different shoes halfway through the night. The suede is very high quality and real, not synthetic. It adhered very well to the soles of my Keds, which are mostly flat but do have a small amount of pattern on the bottom. They were pretty clean as I'd only worn them on a dance floor, but I cleaned them with rubbing alcohol before applying and that seems to also help the adhesive. Overall, this is a lifesaving product. I plan on purchasing this again and again, as I need it. Dance shoes can be so expensive, and in lindy hop, comfort can be so hard to find without branching out to non-traditional dance shoes. This makes that so much more achievable. A dancer's dream come true!

I covered the soles of my keds with this and they have withstood all the dancing over several months. The instructions were simple and clear and the edges are still well stuck to the shoes. I gave four stars because it's a bit on the expensive side considering that you only get one pair of shoes out of one sheet (unless you wear size 5).

This is a life-saver! I've used it on several pairs of my dance shoes, and it has extended their life so that I don't have to constantly buy new shoes that are in great condition apart from the worn out soles. And it's a much quicker, more hassle free option than taking my shoes to a cobbler to replace the soles for me. I've purchased both the gold tan and light tan colors, and each of them match my shoes very well. They aren't an exact match to the original color of the shoes' suede, but I didn't expect them to be. I use the gold tan on my dark tan satin rhythm shoes, and the light tan on my flesh satin court shoes as well as my tan leather practice shoes, and unless you're looking at them up close you can't tell that anything has been stuck onto the bottom of the shoes. The suede is easy to cut-I just traced the bottom of my shoes onto the paper on the back, and that has worked beautifully for me. Definitely take your time and apply them to the shoes as precisely as possible, just to avoid having an annoying imbalance on the bottom of your shoes, and try to stand in the shoes immediately after applying. This way you know if you need to adjust the new suede, and then putting the weight in the shoes for 5 or 10 minutes help to adhere the glue to the bottom of the shoe. The glue has held up extremely well... The original bottoms of my shoes were completely smooth from wear, and I'm sure had a ton of dust, but the glue has held the suede on flawlessly. I've had it on the bottoms of my shoes for over 4 months, and it is the same as when I first stuck it on. Now, instead of throwing out a well-loved, comfortable pair of shoes after a few months, I can restore the soles at home and extend the wear of my favorite shoes. I'll definitely be buying this again!

I love this product, it really worked like a charm on my slippery character shoes. They were not difficult for me to apply, even on a last minute 1:00 am first-time attempt! I really recommend making a paper pattern of your shoe, rather than just tracing onto the suede though. The first shoe I just traced, and it worked fine, but it was a little hard to trace the arch of the shoe. The second shoe, I made a pattern, and that shoe came out cobbler perfect. On the first shoe, the edges were slightly rougher, but not enough to make even a perfectionist like me re do it ;) I followed the instructions to wear them a little and put weight on the new sole, and they held up perfectly to 4 hours of vigorous contra dance the next day. They really look great, too - just like a new fresh pair of shoes :) These character shoes had been sitting on my shelf since my first sad time of trying to dance in them, the slick sole was downright hazardous to my health! Now, with my new suede soles, they are perfect. I saved the pattern so I am good to go whenever I need to replace the sole. I bought the 3-pack, since it was such a better deal financially, and I have a great note about the seller. When my order promptly arrived, I was dismayed to see only 2 sheets of suede in the pack marked 3 pack. I had a sinking feeling, since the company would really just have to take my word on it, and I had waited several weeks before I opened the pack. To my great pleasure, the owner answered my email the very same day apologizing for the error, and said she would replace it. I received the missing sheet of suede in the mail a few days later. I was so pleased with how simple and perfect this stick on suede worked I would have favorably reviewed it anyway, but the customer service I received was just icing on the cake. Highly recommend!
