I worked in the HVAC industry for years, after using this refrigerant scale and dozens of scales from other named brands such as Elitech, Yellowjacket, Fieldpiece and etc, I am pretty sure that this 4ALLTECH scale is as good as its peers from other named brands and it only cost one third or fourth of those scales. So, to be honest, no matter you are a professional or DIYer, this 4ALLTECH refrigerant scale is a great deal for you, it will done all the jobs without any problem and no differences with other expensive scales.

The scale is very nice, accurate and easy to use. The case is kind of cheap and it takes 5 AAA batteries, which is a pain. I hope they last a while, otherwise cost of ownership could be high.

I dont know who, why, what happened that I received this product used and abused. Really?Batteries couldn't even stay in the slot and poped out everytime I tried to installed them. Unit was with scratches and scuffs everywhere!! So back you go!! Not cool!!
