This does what it should, performs well and feels solid. I was amazed that this flex shaft locks down so well! It is not terribly long, but great for my needs. FYI the end peice is threaded but may be super tight. It's M3, however the end pieces I bought were a different (unlabeled) taper so I'm not sure what correctly fits this.

This is the first time I've used something with a gooseneck that's designed to ACTUALLY stay where you set it. After a couple of hours I only had about 0.002" of drift while testing this. I'm also not even sure that drift is a result of the gooseneck itself, or if it was from gradual slip on the bar and towel I had this clamped to.Overall I'm really happy with this. Miles better than any of the sketchy setups I've jerry-rigged over the years.

This is a nice kit. The vice grips are pretty good quality and the flex shaft holds its position well. The gauge feels well made and is easy to see and read. The included case is your typical blown plastic case and it fits everything securely. I have not had a chance to use it yet but I have no reservations about it at all. Overall, I am pleased with this gauge set and I would buy it again. 5 STARS

Digital dial is easy to read but flexible line needs to be another inch or two longer. Clamping device is challenging to find good place flat and parallel to wheel hub to set up. Maybe easier if used magnetic mount instead.
