Didn't leak, worked fine, most reasonable price of the alternatives available. Best turkey I've ever done.

I bought these bags to brine my 23lb. turkey and the bag worked out great. It was enormous with a good flat bottom. The bags also came with twine to tie the legs

I typically just line a hardware store bucket with a heavy duty trash bag when I brine our turkey but decided to try these bags this year - and I will never go back. These bags were great. 15lb turkey fit perfectly and once in the bag, we dropped it into our cooler full of ice and kept it overnight. Totally worth it.

These brine bags are a dream come true. Last year, I used a brine bag I purchased from my local supermarket and it leaked into the ice bath that surrounded it. It was a true travesty. Though I was wary, I ordered these bags in hopes that their "heavy duty" quality and full gusset bottom would yield a better result and I was in no way disappointed. The bag held up supremely. No leaks. No tears and it held my 18lb turkey Plus several gallons of brine, citrus etc without any hassle. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, this is it. I highly recommend these brine bags for all your turkey-day needs!

Sturdy, thick, well built. Zip lock is double zip secure. Very large, I mean very large. Can handle any size turkey out there. No leaks, easy to remove air. N it’s Tight.

I am using bag to brine my Thanksgiving Turkey. Usually I throw everything in the cooler and just keep fresh ice in it. Now I only use the cooler to hold the bag when filling it up. The bag is thick enough that I am not worried about it leaking all over my fridge when brining overnight.Due to the size it’s a bit of a task to zip but it seals tight.

These are absolutely massive! Worked well enough. Came with zipper clips and string with no instructions on how to use but I think it was still fine.

I have been brining my holiday turkey for years. I will never prepare a turkey without a night in brine. Have been brining in a large container for years. Hate that I need to prepare a large amount of liquid, always struggle with finding space in fridge, often need to resort to filling a massive cooler with brine, submerging my turkey then keeping it chilled with ice blocks. This bag has made this whole painful ritual obsolete. I put my turkey (usually approx 20 lbs) into this massive bag (which could accommodate a much bigger turkey), fill it with one batch of brine (around 10 liters or so) then gather up the top of the bag to see if when I squeeze the air out the liquid is sufficient. It usually is, at which point my hubby helps seal the bag with that nifty bag sealer tool. I leave a little gap and do t completely seal as I also “scrunch up” the bag and tie it off, forcing the liquid up and completely submerging the turkey. Once the turkey is fully submerged, we completely seal the bag, pop the bag into a large Rubbermaid “tote” and put in fridge. Next day, I snip a corner of the bag, drain the liquid then remove and rinse the bird as usual. This bag has made my turkey ritual a breeze, and I will always buy these bags, they are thick, massive and really big. At this point in time, the price for the two bags ($16 cad) is totally worth it. Less fuss, no mess and easy cleanup…. All very important to me when cooking a massive dinner for a bunch of family.

These bags are made to properly brine mutant, monstrously large turkeys whose ancestors came from the nuclear fallout of Chernobyl. Any turkey that fills this bag would easily be able to take down a large dog. This bag basically laughed at my 15 pound turkey. It literally said, "Wait, where are the other three turkeys of similar size that you are going to put into me?".There is no turkey known to nature, history, or the Guinness Book of World Records, that would not fit in this bag.Other than that, it works like a bag. It zips up. Then it largely just sits there.

Last Thanksgiving was almost a catastrophic event when my turkey didn't fit into my brining bucket and barely fit into my vegetable drawer from the fridge (makes for an excellent brining vessel when in a pinch and it's not cracked) and I lost over half of my brine all over the place. Do you know how hard it is to clean up WET celery seeds? 😳 And it's not much fun either.I decided to look for some brining bags since we had a larger bird than last year and my hubby got a 5 gal pickle bucket from a friend that owns a restaurant.I only needed to use 1 bag to hold a 24 lb turkey and 3 gals of brine. I put ice in the bottom of the bucket and placed the sealed bag in with all of that weight in there (surprisingly durable for something that doesn't have the feel of durability), placed an ice pack on the top after letting all of the air out of the bag, then put a lid on the bucket and placed it in a very cold room overnight. When it came time to take it out, I had to leave it set at room temperature for a while because there was still ice in the bucket and it was very cold. The meat will seize up if you put it cold immediately into or onto a screaming hot oven/stove top. If you ever took an ice cold steak out a put it right on a grill or stove top and wondered why it was like shoe leather, that's why. I brine (wet or dry brine) just about every piece protein in cook because it makes everything taste so much better.I have also roasted my turkeys in bags since I first started cooking because that's how my mom and grandma did it. I brine it and I make a butter compound that I put under the skin, legs and breasts then put it in a roasting bag. Tender and juicy every time! I found some Goose size roasting bags on here and they are perfect!I highly recommend these brining bags because they hold a lot of brine and bird (or whatever you want to brine) without splitting and they are at a reasonable price.Thank you for making our holiday a lot easier with the cleanup and convenience. I have one left for my next large brining project.
