This is a nice maternity journal. There are a lot of sweet features for recording the experience of pregnancy over the course of 40 weeks. The weird part of this journal is that for the first 4-6 weeks, most women are not aware that they are pregnant, so it's kind of weird to be distinctly tracking those early weeks; also, many pregnancies end up in miscarriage which could be ultimately upsetting if the pregnancy is not completed. Thus, this is is a gift best given by a husband, grandmother, or very close friend who is aware of the pregnancy from early in the process and it is not a good gift for a baby shower which is much later in the process.
