Pregmate ovulation tests detect levels of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in urine.
Test procedure:
- Dip the test into the urine for 3-5 seconds.
- Lay the strip flat.
- Read results in 5 minutes.
Positive:
If two lines are visible and the test line is equal to or darker than the control line, one will probably ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. Make love over the next 2 days following the first positive test result to maximize your chances of becoming pregnant.
Negative:
Only one line appears in the control area or the test line is lighter than the control line. This means there is no LH surge.
Identify the best time to conceive
A positive result indicates the presence of a high amount of Luteinizing Hormone or LH surge.
What is LH surge?
Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is one of the hormones produced by the pituitary gland. It is secreted at very low levels throughout your menstrual cycle. Once a developing egg follicle reaches a certain size, Luteinizing Hormone secretion surges to high levels. This hormone surge is what triggers ovulation about 24 to 48 hours later. Ovulation is the release of a mature egg from the ovary. It signals the beginning of your fertile period.
When to begin testing?
Determine the length of your menstrual cycle before test (The length of the cycle is the duration from your first menstrual bleeding day to the day before the next bleeding begins).
Please refer to the cycle chart to determine when you should start testing. If you do not know your cycle length, you may begin the test 11 days after your first period, since the average cycle length is 28 days.
Example: If your cycle length is normally 26 days, the chart indicates testing should begin on day 10.

Super easy to use! Super easy to read!Pack comes with plenty of test strips for you to use to track your ovulation. The instructions tell you when to start the testing and you get your results within a few minutes. Once you get a positive result, it recommends you try within the next 2 days.

I have taken many ovulation tests before. Quite a few brands and honestly this is my least favorite brand. I don't believe their sensitivity is great, they are ALWAYS lighter than other brands I have. I've also gotten several invalid results from the brand as well. I will always recommend another brand over these.

THIS IS SUCH A GREAT VALUE COMPARED TO WHAT YOU GET IN THE STORE. I HAD A FEW OF MY NAME-BRAND STRIPS LEFT, AND ONCE THESE CAME IN, I COMPARED THE 2. I GOT THE SAME RESULTS. THESE ARE JUST AS EASY TO USE, AND FOR THE PRICE I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO NAME BRAND. ITS NICE TO SEE THAT THERE IS A COMPANY OUT THERE THAT ISNT TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US COUPLES TRYING TO HAVE A BABY. THANK YOU FOR HELPING REDUCE SOME OF OUR COSTS. I APPRECIATE IT.

These pregmate ovulation strips are a cost-effective way of testing for fertility and finding your peak when trying to get pregnant. They have a Sensitivity level of 25 miu/ml, which feels standard. I have found these to be accurate and have been using them for quite some time now especially when you pair them with the Premom app which allows you to upload the tests and keep track on there of your results.

false results. I used these test strips many times and every time it says that im ovulating. Even after 6,7 days. I went to the doctor and they did tests. They said nothing is showing. Not recommended !!!This test strip is pretty accurate no false results. I tried multiple times during my ovulation and it showed the exact days. Hope it came with the cups. Anyway its good. Love it

I first considered ordering the Clear Blue ovulation strips and am so glad I found these before I ordered. These do the exact same thing for a fraction of the price. I never liked the ones where you collect sample midstream because I see so much room for error with those. With these, I ordered a set of small shot cups and collect my urine there first. That way I have a controlled way of collecting with just dipping the strip for 3-5 seconds.These also offer much more value for your dollar as you're getting so much with each pack. This is the first OPK tests I ordered and so far I am loving the insight it's providing to my body. The results are very easy to read and I'm always a over thinker. I just ended my period when I took my first test and the line is very faint next to the control line, which proves accurate results as my LH levels should be low at this point.I plan to test myself around the same time twice a day to create a nice trend leading up to my peak day. This will last me 10 days since it's a pack of 20. My husband and I are finally ready to have a baby so this will be a nice way to guarantee success. I'm also in my late-30's so this an inexpensive way to gain insight of when to do the deed and also to get to know your body better. I plan to order more of these strips (probably the 50 or 100 pack) if we don't conceive this time around.It's also great that they provide an app to document everything too!

I really liked how the packaging wasn't in a box but in a packet instead because I can easily store it in one of our drawers in the restroom without taking up too much space and being too obvious when stored. Additionally, I appreciated how the strips were in individual smaller packets, which kept them from being exposed. On the back of each packet, the expiration date of each strip was printed, which is a thoughtful detail.Regarding the app, I found it well-formatted and aesthetically pleasing. As someone who isn't very tech-savvy with apps, I appreciated its straightforward design. Speaking of straightforward, I also really liked the little packet they had with the product which explained what we’re trying to track. I think as a first time user of ovulation strips, this was really helpful cuz it’s short, sweet, and beginner level.As this is my first time using ovulation strips, I can't say for sure how they compare to other brands. However, they seem to be performing well so far. The strips are gradually getting darker as I move further away from my last period, which indicates they are working as expected. The 20-pack was sufficient for my needs as a beginner, but in the future, when I aim to track my ovulation cycle more closely, I may require more strips for the same price. However, I'm uncertain whether increasing the quantity will affect the quality of the strips. So, that's always something to keep in mind.Overall, it's definitely a good starting pack for me!

Easy to use and read. Does exactly as it lists.I like its comes in a big pack since you have to test so often.
