This isn't suitable as a child's toy. The soft cover peels off easily and the plastic housing is fragile and can split open easily. Inside is a thin foil and wire to sense activation that I wouldn't want a kid messing with.But for the price, it's an amazing magic 8 ball replacement for somewhere you don't care about noise. It's pretty loud, but hilarrious.

This product is adorable but very sensitive to the touch and goes off whether you ask a question or not. Best to set on table first and lightly tap its head. The answers are cute but silly when it speaks. Fun for kids but annoying for teens lol
