I miked each piece and they are all within a couple of ten thousandths of what they are marked as. You might think them expensive but consider this: If you go to an industrial supply shim stock normally comes in 6" x 60" rolls and they cost in excess of $40.00 per roll for each thickness. If you only use small amounts of shimming as I do, this is a very practical methods of getting numerous different sizes without having to spend big bucks.

All the very thin shims were in the middle and thicker shims to the outside to to prevent the thin ones from damage. All thicknesses were included as described. Very accurate.

These are fantastic! I have a die cutting/embossing machine, but have had issues when the die is too thin. They say, use a paper shim. Well, let me tell you, making Christmas cards last year, the paper shim got jammed and I had to take the entire machine apart to get it out. Fortunately, I was able to put it back together. Bottom line, these metal shims work like a dream! I have used 2 thicknesses so far, more will be used later. Different paper thicknesses and die thicknesses will necessitate that. I am so thrilled to have these!

Needed shim stock but not plastic but metal. This fit the need. Spent40 years as a machinist, this would work for that let alone around the house. Good selection and enough to last for sometime.

Excellent collection and selection of carbon steel shims. Comes as a slightly oiled single stack of shims with thicknesses marked in ink on the shim. Some of the thickness are difficult to read, but you can figure them out. I used them to shim a rifle modification. They are exactly as advertised and pictured. There is a chance that there may be minor edge dings on some of the sheets. If you need the entire sheet for a shim and you cannot tolerate any edge imperfections, not sure you should order this type of assortment.

A good selection of thicknesses. The thin pieces were a little bent at the edge, maybe 1/4" lost but otherwise nice and clean and flat. The thicker piece were dead flat, without the slight bow that you expect in thin shims. I got it to shim the headstock of a lathe and i don't expect any trouble using this. Would buy it again.
