Excellent quality product just as advertised...all dimensions were spot on (micrometer checked) and it was packaged well in corrosion preventing paper then boxed. I've made two backsaws from this stock so far and could not be happier with the purchase.

Very little to be said here. It is long, wide, and hard. Mmmmmmm! Seriously though, it comes prehardened which made it a pain for me to work with, and required annealing. Good steel though.

Delivered a quantity of three sheets of 0.025" and was missing 0.010" and 0.015". I did not have the time to deal with returning the entire package and wait for a replacement as I needed to utilize the parts as soon as possible. I will have to purchase the missing sheets separately.

This is a nice set of sheet metal pieces of different thickness. I used them as shims for stainless steel poles, shims like this were invaluable to bring the poles to vertical position within 0.2 degrees. However, be aware that it is tempered steel. It is extremely hard and brittle, the kind of steel that is used to make blades and scrapers. It is very hard to card. I started with small tin snips - no luck, just would not bite into it. Then, I used a jig saw with a Bosch blade for metal. The blade survived about an inch length of cut before becoming ultimately dull. I cut a few small shims with a hack saw, then went to a store and bought quite massive snips with dual lever action which ultimately enabled it to cut these pieces into smaller shims - but with a lot of effort, surprising for such thin material. I would very much prefer a regular, softer steel. But this was the only set that I could find.I also was hoping to make holes in it using a hole punch, but this also failed. The thin tempered steel was harder than the punch dies.Good quality set, but very hard to work with. Not sure what the target buyers are.
