I ordered these boxes a bit skeptically. There just weren't many file boxes that both fit legal size folders AND had room for labeling, without getting squished by the lids. These look nice (I got the light blue); they are solid, yet collapsible; they are fabric covered, so soft. And they have a place for labels on both short and long side. I have mine in an armoir and they won't scratch the wood like a plastic box likely would. They look nice enough for open shelves. I am very happy with these file boxes!

This filing box is the perfect choice for easy access to my files. It is attractive, strong and the hanging file element is exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend it.

After reading other reviews about quality control issues I was a little nervous to buy this 2 pack hanging file box set, but I decided to try them out and I am so happy I did!At just over $20 each (41.99 for the set of 2) they are good value for money and are lightweight yet sturdy.I love how the hanging bars fit snuggly over the inside rims and you get two sets of US paper size and US legal size bars so you can choose which length bars to use depending on your needs - super versatile!The base and lid both fit snuggly - this product is designed well.I ordered 'Ivory' color, the fabric is a soft creamy oatmeal color and goes great with white, grey, dark or neutral color decor.Yes there is a bit of an 'off-gassing' glue smell, probably due to the cheapest glue they could find wherever these are made!? I am pretty sensitive but after airing them out for a few hours outside the smell dissipated a lot.They look simple and clean, unobtrusive and minimal, so a brilliant way to store all your paperwork!I am doing a massive paper purge KonMari style, so I will only put into these files what I really need to keep hold of! The rest will go into the shredder I just got, muaa ha ha..I attach a picture of the files I bought to put inside the boxes (note the storage boxes do not come with files). I got 3 x 18 packs of Smead letter size in Steel Grey which is a really soft, pale stoney grey, that I feel compliments the Ivory boxes well, and spilt between 2 boxes feels like the right number of files.Great product!

Muy facil de ensamblar, recibe ambos tamaños de folders (carta y oficio) perfectamente, acomodandolos a lo largo o bien a traves.Los rieles metalicos permiten deslizar los folders colgantes con facilidad.Trae 2 juegos de rieles, un juego para cada tamaño de folder.Cabe aclarar que como dichos rieles trasmiten la carga directamente a las paredes de la caja, y estas son de carton grueso forrado de tela, si se sobrecarga lo mas probable es que se deformen los costados.Luce muy bien, y esta perfecta para un entorno de oficina en casa, con uso moderado.NO tiene el olor fuerte y persistente que algunos usuarios reportan de un producto similar.

Purchased a pack of 2 but one of them is missing the metal cover for one handle. I've waited for weeks for this only to find out that it would come like this. Totally disappointed.

I am very impressed with the sturdiness of this product. When you first begin to put it together you might think you have made a mistake because it feels flimsy and not squared-up. However, once you have it completely assembled, with the bars in and the lid on, it is a very sturdy box. It also looks very nice.I rated it four stars overall because both of the gray linen boxes I received had such a HORRID ODOR on them that I seriously considered returning them. I sprayed the first one with Febreeze and let it sit open (after assembly). It has been three days and I can still smell the horrible odor, though it is not as bad as it was. If you have a large freezer, the best way to get rid of odors on things made of porous materials is to crumple up fresh unread newspaper (so most of the ink is still on the paper), seal the item to be fixed in a large plastic bag along with a comparable amount of newspaper, and place it in the freezer for a few days. When you remove it, discard the newspaper (of course), and hopefully enjoy a fragrance free product.
