Very please with this product. Easy to use. I use it mainly to set up router table cuts. Works well for both the cutter height and distance from fence. Long enough to bridge over the plastic inserts in the cutter holes which are often not precisely level with the rest of the table. Ditto for table saws.

This is especially useful for small workshops with limited space, especially if you are planning to use one router for both router table and handheld applications. You replace the baseplate with the supplied round acrylic base and then you can literally switch between handheld and table configuration in seconds. The design is simple but practical. To set the bit height, lift out of the table and set it as you would in handlheld configuration, then drop it back in the table.Designed to attach a cleat that would allow you to securely clamp to your workbench. This is very similar to the Rockler unit, and any Youtube videos that reference the Rockler will apply to this unit, too. I'm using with my 1HP Bosch trim router. It's a great low-cost option for small jobs, very small shops, and ultimate portability. Not a replacement for a more sophisticated, larger router table that can handle larger workpieces.

I don't have a shop and our garage is used for vehicles - imagine that! I don't have room for a router table; everything I buy must be able to be stowed in the garage and "pop up" for use when it's time to tackle projects. The Powertec router table is compact but well made & sturdy! I mounted mine on a cleat per the directions, and used a couple of quick clamps to secure it to my portable work table. I had already removed the router when I took this photo (sorry!) but I use mine with my Dewalt DCW600B trim router and it mounts perfectly! All in all this was a successful purchase!

I really wanted this to be better than it is. This is the only trim router table I found that said it works with the Makita trim router. However, it does not work with the plunge base, even though it says it does. The table plate does have the screw holes for the plunge base and even has hollow spots to accommodate the 2 screw heads that stick out of the bottom of the plunge base. The problem is that the diameter of the table plate is the same as the diameter of the plunge base (see the photos of the table plate attached to the plunge router base). The router base must be smaller than the diameter of the table plate - actually much smaller given the protrusions for the leveling screws - or it will not work with the table (see photo of the table plate seated in the table). I suspect that someone got the schematics for the screw locations on the bottom of the plunge base and integrated that into the design without actually looking at the plunge base itself and making sure the rest of their design would work with it.Additional issues I have run into: I cannot get the table plate level with the top of the table no matter how much I tweak the leveling screws. Additionally, the dust port is different from the one in the listing and the manual (see photo of the dust port), and the 45 degree elbow it came with does not fit the dust port. I think the dust port I got is actually a superior design and doesn't really need the elbow. But there is one problem: the bolts it came with do not fit the holes in the fence - I had to find my own bolts.I should have just taken a day to make my own.

The screws that are intended to hold the mounting plate to assembly do not hold, had to countersink and mount from above. Mounting plate sits 1/32"+ below work platform... had to space with washers which created a less stable work platform. Work platform is not deep at all... not enough working space, another inch would make a HUGE difference. Thumb screws for dust shield are barely wide enough to cover adjustment slot. Fence t-bolts fit very loosly which is a great concern with an MDF work platform. I will keep this for incidental use, but highly recommend the rockler convertible bench top router table, which I purchased after dissapointment with this product.

I needed a router table for my Makita trim router and found this online after thinking about building my own portable router table. I have limited space so needed something small, yet sturdy. After estimating the time (including rounding up parts) and costs associated with building my own MDF router table top, I figured this product was worth it. I mounted it to my work bench using the three pre-drilled holes for mounting screws (if you don't want to drive screws directly into your workbench, you can mount the tabletop to a cleat and then clamp it to your workbench), and it works perfectly, much more stable than I thought it might be. The only complaint I have is that the 45-degree elbow that's supposed to fit the dustport and then connect to a vacuum hose was the wrong size. It has the same ID/OD as the port itself. I ended up buying a 2-1/2 to 1-1/2 adapter for use with my Shop Vac and that worked fine.

Easy to work with. The guide fits just about any trim router on the market. I’m using the Dewalt DWP611. You’ll have to do all the measuring yourself to get whatever distance from the cutter to the fence you need. Pretty basic table. But it does a good job. Sturdy. You don’t need to use the fence if you are just putting an edge on your piece. The vacuum port works well. It’s probably the same table as the Rockler one. Just $10 or so cheaper.

The main reason I'm writing this review is to answer the question of does it fit a harbor freight trim router? The "universal" plate it comes with, as far as I can tell, does NOT fit a harbor freight trim router. I spun that thing at least 30 times and couldn't find anything that would work. That said, there's just enough undrilled meat on the plate to drill your own holes and it WILL fit the HF trim router.Besides that, assembly was a breeze, love the dust collector and how it mounts to my workbench. Saves me space and money. Adjustment is easy and everything feels solid. I don't use a router that much, but I feel better about it now that I have this table.
