I purchased this stand to hold a Skil benchtop drill press and it works as advertised. I also put it on a Harbor Freight-brand Central Machinery Mobile Base. For just over $100 I now have a rolling benchtop drill press. Great value and sturdy build. The assembly was a bit fiddly, though. You don't have to fully tighten any of the hardware until you have it nearly completely assembled so the loose supports made it a bit of a challenge. Overall, this is an excellent tool stand for the price and can be adapted for many uses.

I just assembled my tool stand. It appears to be quite sturdy and nice looking. Assembly was pretty simple but, I have a couple complaints. First, the bottom shelf was too large. I needed to make several cuts on the shelf in order to make it fit. Also, the 1/2 " MDF board provided was not the best material to use. The screws supplied were too long. There weren't any pilot holes drilled to use with the self-piercing screws resulting in a minor blow out on the shelf. I decided to replace the screws with 1" machine bolts and nuts. I needed to drill holes to do this, but it was well worth it. It is a terrific product but could better if these corrections were made.

It’s sturdy and well made, especially for the very low prices. I have a thickness planer on it and it’s secure and steady. Would have been nice if they included an extra bolt or two. Otherwise, no complaints.

Excellent product. Assembles easily, is sturdy, and holds the weight for its intended use. Only drawback for me being 6/4" is that I would have liked it better if it had another 12" of height. I will buy another one when the requirement for another comes up.

This table has potential. By that I'll explain later. As other folks have pointed out:(1) the shelf boards are made of particle board so never get them wet.(2) ruler on top board is a guesstimate.(3) the bottom shelf is made of two boards that meet in the middle - get ready for anything heavy to break through.(4) the top shelf boards slide by flat head wood screws mounted underneath that move within slots on top frame. they slide rather sloppy.(5) the fasteners are cheap and the nylon nuts are easily stripped.(6) I did get more flat washers than what was needed. Guess I got the other folks missing washers.(7) the 'one' leg leveling bolt is useless. Ever try leveling four legs with one adjustment? mine was actually level after some fiddling.(8) the instruction manual was written by a second grader. study the drawing carefully to assemble. it's not difficult, just tedious.(9) assembling the metal legs and braces by yourself is a challenge but not impossible. be prepared to swear a lot. Here's the potential part:(1) junk the fasteners and make a trip to the hardware store for good assembly bolts and nuts.(2) toss the particle boards. measure, cut, and stain two pieces of plywood making the top and bottom shelves (one piece of plywood for each shelf). I used 0.75" plywood.(3) secure the top shelf plywood to the frame and secure metal rulers along the sides. I guess you could route the sides so rulers would be flush with the top - or omit the rulers all together.(4) I know that's a lot of work, but you'll be happier with the stand.

Es buen soporte, pero la verdad me hubiese gustado que la terminación de las patas también fueran de acero para poder adaptarle unas ruedas para darle movilidad, al final solo vienen unas piezas de plástico que no son nada confiables ni resistentes.

This is the identical product to one I bought from Sears 15 years ago, and have my drill press mounted on.When I realized this new stand was the same, I was most pleased. It’s not difficult to assemble, just a bit ‘wobbly’ until fully assembled.Great product, and the am confident I will get twenty years out of this one as well.I concluded there were not a lot of this type of bench on Amazon.I will be mounting my band saw on this one.The top consists of two halves that can be separated by about 6” if you need a wider table, but don’t mind having a gap in the middle. I’ve never used that feature.

The stand was easy to assemble and the parts seemed well made. I've been using it as a stand for a small drill press and a small belt sander - it's been very solid and hasn't caused any issues so far. You may want to put a clear coat on the MDF top / shelf pieces if you think there's any risk that they're going to get wet or get oil on them, though, as they're completely unfinished.

This product is very solid, holds my drill press and other tools very well. Would be nice if the top was ply, but for the money I think is solid value.

First, the seller was prompt, fast, and I was impressed with their commitment to get the product to the customer. 5 stars for the vendor. Now, the product. Easy of assembly is 1 star or less. Mine didn't come with directions but I knew I could put it together. The issue I came across was there weren't enough washers for all the connections so I had to figure that out. Second, the support arms in the midway down part, hit each other in the corners. This causes them to not fit together flat. Then the midway down boards are too long and too wide to fit in place. I have to trim them both in length and width. Something is wrong with this picture. Now, stability and sturdiness are pretty much the same thing. The manufacture sends philips head screws with lock nuts. You can't tighten down the screws enough to make it so it doesn't move. Even with all the screws as tight as you can make them, it moves. This should have hex bolts and lock nuts with washers at each connection. The top board is thick, which is good but the board is not designed to have screws in it. It is not solid wood. It is that type of wood that breaks apart when screws go in. I do like the size of this tool table that I plan to put a bench sander on. Before I do that, I do need to change out the screws to bolts and put washers on all bolts. This item could be really good if they change a couple things. I would like to see the CEO of their company put one together and see what his thoughts are.
