This belt is easy to put on. Just look at a youtube video.Just 4 bolts to take off the shroud and then one torque nut to remove to slip the belt off the tension pully.Make sure you loosen the tension so you will be able to tighten it as necessary.Have done quite a bit of heavy grass cutting without having to tighten the tensioner.

Bought a like new, used return DR String trimmer for pennies on the dollar, the person claimed to the store it did not work. Turns out what was broken was the original purchaser who could not read the instruction manual. Removed the excess strings from the head, but found they had burned up the drive belt.The recommendation was a Gates Green V belt.... Bought , installed, and put it to work 6 months ago. We trim fence lines, around trees, ect on a 10 acre property.. Belt is still going strong. I bought two to have a spare, that one will collect dust for many hours to come.
