Bought this to help aid us in locating wires and what they control on a used fire truck body we purchased and are re mounting on another cab so I haven’t had the chance to really use it until now. 8 months after ordering it. After 2 nights of use the probe is loosing connection with the wiring inside the unit. Of course I’m out of my return window and didn’t realize it has no warranty! Be careful when you buy cheaper tools trying to conserve money because now I’m out this money and am going to purchase a different kind.

I am surprise to see how well this probe worked. The electrical cords are long enough and its excellent for on and off vehicle component testing. Great addition to my tool box.

Great bang for your buck.!! Most of this style testers run into the 100's. Works great

I use this all the time for troubleshooting. Just recently for testing a window motor regulator and a washer pump. The cord is long enough that I could get everywhere I’ve needed to so far.

I'm a field mechanic at an underground mine and recently got a call for a no-crank/no-start issue on an LHD. A switch issue was suspected; I used this probe to verify the starter switch was functioning properly and the problem was downstream. A starter solenoid terminal had failed and there wasn't enough room to open the engine access panels and repair it in place. I used this test probe to apply switched current to the starter solenoid terminal, start the machine, and move it to an area with enough space to fully repair the issue. This tool paid for itself on that one job alone!
