I used these angle clips with my Ramset and the lowest power charges. I attched several to the ceiling joists overhead. The clips are strong enough to hold light loads - I wouldn't go over 20lbs. For speed of install these are hard to beat.

If you are using drive pins without an l bracket attached then you're missing out. These have made multiple projects of mine a lot easier. They are pretty sturdy, and work well with my DeWalt powder loads. So far I've used them multiple times in concrete. Of course make sure you have them lined up well and I would even argue that you need to use a little tape to make sure that everything is lined up.

I need to hang some plates on a concrete block wall and instead of drilling holes and using lags, I thought I would use these. The first photo is one installed with a green (#3) powder cartridge. That cartridge was a little too strong. The fastener was flattened against the wall and the corners curled slightly. (First photo.)Tried a brown (#2) cartridge next but that power doesn't drive the nail in far enough. (Second photo.)If you're putting these into concrete blocks, you might have different results but I'll use the green level.
