This is a set of connectors and end caps that for many standard metal shelves on the market. This fits the style of shelves that are smooth metal outside with the hanging key holes on the inside; the kind where the posts are folded in on themselves. These are just as good as the original. They can break easily, however; they are just little plastic pieces. They function fine.

I always have to take the Costco shelves out of the box to bring them in the house because the box is just to awkward and heavy for me. I try to put the connectors somewhere I won't lose them, but that doesn't always work out. Also I have dropped a connector and it seems to have disappeared into thin air, never to be seen again! Very frustrating when you've paid for a quality shelf. So I was very happy to have found this product as a quick, reasonably priced, easy way to replace the originals and be able to use my shelving. They fit well and are at least as sturdy as the originals.
