Unlike some other brands that measure slightly shorter than their nominal size, these are accurately sized and work great in my generic 18ga pneumatic brad nailer. For me, someone who doesn't do a large volume of woodworking or carpentry, the assortment is a very cost-effective way to get all the most common, useful sizes without having to buy way more nails than I need.

i was having a very difficult time with my shoe moulding project using a hammer and 1-1/2 inch hilllman 4d finishing nails. going into 1/2" oak, most if not all nails would bend mercilessly. after about 15 tries, i gave up and summoned the gods of amazon to find me a cheap chinese air nail gun. and the super heroes came through. i got an 18 gauge brad nailer paired with these nails (1-1/4") and i can't say both used in tandem worked flawlessly, but relatively speaking, i'm ecstatic with the results. my garage project is almost at the painting stage.
