Love this saw. It has become one of my new favorite tools. Lightweight but powerful. Really makes the job a breeze. First project was cutting laminate flooring with it and it worked so well. I loved how it is so portable. Makes it easy to carry around. Very easy to handle. And I like that it has different speed settings.

This little outfit is the cats ass, wish I had it this past summer working on my wafa-too- she. My waterfall shed. I didn’t have a pig where I could plug my miter saw and sander and jigsaw in so it was constantly unplug this, plug that in. THEN, when I took it out to modify my deer blind, it worked flawlessly, I would definitely recommend buying this product!!!

Good quality but shoe is larger than most so if cutting installed material you are limited to how close can get to other items. Other than that i like the saw. The manual that comes with it has terrible quality pictures though, basically useless. Have to go online and look at digital version

Pros:- Easy to use. Quick insert blade, insert battery from your 20v Porter Cable set and good to go- Safety toggle. Extra protection against accidental use.- 3 speeds allows for any project- Good battery usageCons:- Does not have an independent rotatable blade like some more expensive/corded models.Already had the 8 piece cordless set from Porter Cable and just added the jigsaw to my collection. Bought this to help the spouse cut custom Halloween decorations to put infront of the house out of 3/4" plywood. The tool did exactly what it needed to and allowed us to make rounded cuts for ghosts and tombstones. Tool cuts precisely and clean through 3/4" plywood with relative easy and was simple to use. Comes with 1 wood speed bit which worked for the project. You will want to consider getting some additional bits with your purchase. Good battery use as one standard battery on full charge was enough to cut multiple shapes on a single charge.

Funciona muy bien, el material con el que está hecho se ve de mediana calidad pero al estarlo utilizando funciona muy bien, lo único malo es que como dice en las especificaciones, no cuenta con baterías, pero fuera de eso es muy recomendable, lo he probado en trabajos pesados y ligeros sin ningún problema, muy buena compra y todo llegó bien y sin contratiempos

I have only used it once but I do like the idea of having a portable (cordless) jigsaw to haul to a spot where it is not convenient to an electrical outlet. It was neat to find out that it does not need a tool to change the blade. Convenient and simple to change blades. It certainly had the power to complete the task for which I used it today. While a bit heavy, I found it easy to operate. It fits in well with my Porter Cable collection of 20 volt tools and batteries.

After having purchased ALL the porter cable 20v MAX lithium tools, and having used them from a range to very demanding, to extremely simple tasks, which involves routinely using them well past their intended run times and overall stress tolerances, I feel I can now make a justified review, based on their performances over the course of roughly a year.The Porter Cable 20V MAX PCC650 Jig saw is an exceptional tool that I have used hundreds of times throughout the course of the time I've owned it. The overall construction of the tool is very exceptional, especially given the price point. The handle is very comfortable like all the Porter Cable 20V MAX tools, it feels very similar to the PCC640 or PCC600 Impact or Drill respectively, except laid down 90 degrees.The Jig saw features a 3 mode Oscillation feature which controls whether the saw cuts very fast but not as clean, medium speed and medium cleanliness, or slow but very clean, all this is subject to the type, and quality of blades you are using of course (uses T shank blades). The angle adjustment is very simple to use, you just loosen the hex head fastener with the included allen wrench (has storage slot on saw) and adjust the angle the way you want. It also has a positive locking slot that allows you to quickly bring the saw back to a 90 degree cut.The trigger (on this and all variable speed tools in the lineup) is the perfect combination of sensitive and responsive. You have the ability to fully press the trigger for max speed, but you can also slightly press it for slow speed operation. I used the Jigsaw in tons of projects, from cutting very thin material, to cutting light gauge steel, to cutting huge cutouts out of homemade counter tops for 20 minutes straight and the saw never once complained.Keeping in mind that the tool is more "constant use" than say a drill or something where you drive the fastener/drill the hole and then stop, it does very well as far as battery life is concerned. In actuality it will seem as if it eats through it, but again that's because its constantly going when you're cutting. I have alleviated this issue by using one of my 4.0 amphr battery packs exclusively in this saw. You can definitely get by, by using a smaller battery, even the smallest 1.2 amphr battery would work fine.All in all the Porter Cable PCC650 20V MAX Jigsaw is a great tool, especially for the money. If you have previously invested in other tools in the lineup, or even if your'e just needing a cordless saw, I would highly recommend this tool.Be sure and checkout my Amazon profile for reviews on all 20V MAX Porter Cable tools.

Excellent tool. I now have used all the P-C 20 volt line for several months on the job and am ready to comment. First the tool line as a whole is brilliantly conceived and well executed. My buddies at work tease me that I should be paid for all the compliments I give to P-C on this line. They are uniformly good-to-excellent.As to the jigsaw: it is powerful and accurate, with a truly functional air blower. It has only three orbital settings, but I find them adequate. It is light (not always a good thing for a reciprocating tool, where mass helps damp vibration) and easy to control. My only nits to pick: the shoe is stamped rather than cast or forged, and you need a tool to change bevel settings. But the tool is conveniently and securely located on the tool itself, so you need not blunder around wondering where you left it last.Despite these mild suggestions for improvement, overall a solid five stars for performance and great price.
