Nice radio for AM, FM, NOAA Weather and Shortwave too. Very clear on FM. I am new to SW stations so I got it for those. Nice option of charging both with a USB-C and solar cell right on it.

If I had to describe this Greadio weather radio in one word, that word would definitely be WOW! I was looking for a portable radio for emergency use during our frequent power outages, preferably one with dual power options, but this compact radio has so many features, it would be my first choice for a national emergency! And that's not hyperbole! This is a digital, portable AM, FM, Shortwave radio, and it even has a NOAA weather radio station with weather alert feature in the event of a regional disaster. It has not only 2, but 3 ways to charge it; a built in 4000mAh rechargeable battery with a type C charger, a hand crank option, as well as a solar charging option. It has Bluetooth, a USB port and TF micro card slot so you also have the ability to play media from a USB or Trans Flash card. It also has a 14800mWh power bank that can function as a backup battery for recharging your other devices, too. It has an LED flashlight and an SOS warning with an actual siren alarm for outdoor emergencies, and I haven't even gotten to the radio features yet. Along with the AM, FM, SW and WB functions, it has a station channel auto search, station store, and preset memory functions with each different band mode able to automatically retrieve and store up to 70 stations. There's an earphone jack and an extra long antenna to get the best reception, and it's also waterproof! If all this wasn't enough, there's a sleep timer setting and a compass! How they get all these amazing features packed in its compact 5" x 3" size is truly astounding. To top it off, it comes in a sturdy, military style, hard plastic, foam padded carrying case to keep it well protected and so you'll always know where it is. The features are so numerable to list, that I hope I haven't forgotten anything. This portable radio is top of line quality and is well worth the reasonable list price. It's honestly a bargain for all the features it offers. Whether camping or just enjoying some music at home, this radio will be my go-to source for information so I'll be fully prepared for any power outage or any emergency that comes along.

As someone who is part of Generation X, I am old enough to remember analog devices like typewriters, radios, and record players, but young enough to have absolutely no problem with modern devices like iPhones or streaming services. But this device, with all of its different gadgets, threw me for a loop.Don’t get me wrong, this is a great thing - the amount of options that this device has is incredible: it’s a radio, a flashlight, an SOS siren, a charging device and more, all rolled into one. I love everything about it, from the look (it reminds me of something my uncle would have owned) to its various capabilities. It seems well built and I especially like the fact that it comes with its own case.However, it’s not the most intuitive device I have owned by a long shot. Just turning it on the first time required a look at the directions (you “long press” the power button), which is something I’m not used to doing. In order to utilize the various functions, you have to flip this switch, long press that button, etc. it’s not a big deal, but it’s definitely difficult to remember - especially if you only use this for emergency situations. The display isn’t really that clear either - a light will turn on, but what does it mean? Better check the instruction booklet for answers. I could easily see some folks getting frustrated by this.Overall, it’s a really solid device that I am happy to own. It’s versatility is incredible. But don’t lose the instructions.
