Cute and great for travel, holds needles but not syringes (not a problem for me personally).

Looks exactly like the picture. A little bit bigger than I expected but good storage space.

These aren’t great in the sense that they do not have anything to cut the needle off and into the box. I realized while packing for a trip that these aren’t very useful for my use cases.

Tiny box- useful for pen syringe tips but not standard insulin syringes

Game changers when it comes to going anywhere for me! I would just not check my sugar when we went out rather than either haul along the full sized sharps container or leave the lancet in the device. I’m glad that there are so many in the pack, too. Vacations are a possibility again!

I recently started using an insulin pen and I needed a sharps container to carry with me while on the go. These little containers are the perfect size! It fits inside my insulin pen case, along with my testing supplies. The container itself is relatively thick and I see no reason why a needles would puncture it, especially from the inside out. The lid shuts with a double-click locking action. It’s not too tough for an adult to open but would be challenging for a small child to open. It also secures well enough to prevent accidentally/inadvertently opening the container while in a bag or pocket. The opening is beveled to accommodate various own needle sizes and removing them sadly from the pen, directly into the container, is quite simple, even for my arthritic hands. I just started using them so I’m unsure of how many needles and lancets it will hold but I’m hoping each container will last me at least a month. I assume I can dump the contents into a larger sharps container at any time but that seems sketchy considering how small the opening is. I figure I’ll just recycle them with my sharps disposal once they’re full, but we’ll see how emptying goes when I get there. I’m really glad I found these for the convenience and for the safety. I’ll certainly be buying more once I figure out how long each one will last.
