I bought 6 of these to use while bank fishing at night with my florescent rods. It lights op the rod from 20 feet away. I havent used them yet so battery life is unknown.

This is a really impressive little light, several settings, comes with batteries and is very powerful.

It was a real toss-up between 3 and 4 stars, so I decided to give a 4 star. Really much smaller than I expected, I do alot of nighttime catfish fishing and the brightness is decent but definitely not great (even on "High"). I even have 2 poles strung with black light/ fluorescent fishing line and I set the light up about 4 or 5 feet from the poles and you can easily see 1 pole/line the 2nd pole /line you can barely make out the line (on this pole I even have black light reflective tape on it and still can only barely make it out, my 3rd pole I painted to the tip fluorescent orange and I also can barely make it out. The battery seems to hold a real good charge and recharging this light is easy, on/off button is good, compactibility is really nice, BUT, for this to be really great, it needs to be much, much brighter than it currently is. My review is based only on night time fishing/fishing for catfish since that is why I purchased it. It seems to be built pretty sturdy (that is "as sturdy as plastic can be". The appearance is not too bad. P.S. the price was okay for this particular light.

Product works good and holds charge. Just wish they were brighter so I would only have to use 1 light while night fishing.

Termites are attracted to it but it's a small price to pay! It does great for night fishing!Long battery life and a easy to use!
