After a recent power outage, I knew I wanted a battery-powered radio on hand. I was very pleased with this product. it is small, but has large speaker for its size, so you get a very good sound. Reception is good, not great. Built solid and I appreciate that it comes with good batteries.

I bought this on a whim, as another reviewer said it exceeded his expectations, and so far it has exceeded mine, too. Just a basic radio, analog tuning and only three controls, rotary on/off/volume, tuning knob, and band selector switch. Tuning in a station does require some patience; don't expect the precision of digital tuning, but once you get a station locked in, it stays there, and sound is unexpectedly full and rich for such a small (about 3-1/2-4 inches in diameter) speaker; it also can get quite loud when necessary. Reception is better than average on AM, much better than average on FM; I haven't had a chance to adequately test SW at night, when SW reception conditions are better, but will update this review when I do. Larger than pocket-sized, but still small and light enough to carry anywhere. I like that it takes a single 18650 rechargeable battery (supplied); also came with the charging cable. No headphone jack, unfortunately.

I discovered this radio did not have an electrical cord with it that I could plug the radio into the wall outlet. I do not have extra technological gadgetry laying around so had to figure out what was needed to plug the radio into the electrical outlet. The radio was able to select many stations and had an excellent speaker.

This radio has serious defects. The tuner dial is for gross tuning only, no fine tuning provided for. Even a major New York station was hard to tune in. The volume dial is located right next to the tuner dial so it is easy to knock the tuner off station. After difficulty in tuning in the desired station the radio went dead after two months. I charged the battery only to discover that the circuitry in the unit itself is at fault. The good news is that it didn't cost much so I didn't feel bad about tossing it in the trash

The product was delivered within a day. It is very light weight, small portable radio with rechargable battery. My brother loves camping and having a radio to listen to news or music while camping would make him happy.The quality is good. Works just fine. Great for the price.

The radio is cool and easy to use. It has a strong speaker, so everything sounds clear, whether it's music or news. You can listen to AM, FM, and shortwave stations, and the knobs make it simple to find your favorite ones. The tuning works really well on the FM band, so I can easily get all your local stations. It's light and runs on a single custom battery which is rechargeable, so you can take it with you wherever you go. I also like the nostalgic feel of this radio—it reminds me of the old ones that used to be more common.
