I plan to keep these filled and handy in the garage and an inside workspace just as a "better than nothing" aid.Not a lawyer but labelling this as an "eye wash station" and implying it meets the ANSI Z358.1-2014 standard for such a station seems a bit odd. For starters, there's no way that 16oz of water can supply a 0.4 gpm flow for 15 minutes! Nor are there dust caps on the bottles either, etc. etc.So maybe toss the included sign. The only relation to the cited standard I can see this serving is only as a supplemental "personal wash unit" kept even closer for a quick rinse before heading to a real station. As that I think these bottles could do alright. Note that there's not straws in them though, so after the first squeeze or two they're not going to work in the upright position as shown — you'd have to sort of "bottom's up" and hope not too much of whatever you're trying to ditch ends up rinsing down the rest of your body.

While it doesn’t include the solution, this allows you to choose the one that best suits your needs. The quality of the materials feels durable, and the setup was straightforward.Overall, this product provides peace of mind knowing you’re prepared for emergencies. I like this piece because it helps us stay safe and in line with OSHA regulations. We keep some minor chemicals in our shop/garage. Nothing unsafe, caustic or corrosive. Everything we keep is diluted by water. We do not have a sink or eye wash station, until now. The unit is super light. The bottles are empty and are meant to have bottles of saline put in their place. The tops have an eyebfitting that fits directly to the face. I have tried it, to make sure it would work in an emergency. The backing board is light weight and easily installed on almost any surface depending on your method of installation. I think this is an easy and affordable way to stay safe. All you have to do is pull a bottle ,put your eyes to it and squeeze to rinse. I'm glad all of us will be a tad safer in the shop now. We are 100% about safety in our organization. Having several OSHA certifications in my life, I think this is important and will likely function ad needed per my tests.

We’ve all done it; you’re working on something in the kitchen or garage and, even though we know better, we don’t bother to put safety glasses on. Been there, done that, got the eyepatch. It can happen in a heartbeat, so an eyewash station like this can make all the difference in an emergency. This set comes with two wash bottles that fit into a wall-mounted bracket. The overall construction isn’t as robust as I hoped, but it’s perfectly fine for the price. This isn’t something that’s likely to get a lot of day to day use (fingers crossed), so I think it’s adequately durable for its purpose. I do wish that there had been separate mounting brackets so that you could place each bottle in a different rooms, though. The bottles work quite well, and I like that you can spray both eyes simultaneously; that’s a major advantage over single-spray designs. The eye cups are fine, but I prefer traditional eye cups to this open-sided design. I also found the edges didn’t fit my eyes especially well, which makes it harder to press them against your eyelids to keep them open during use. It’s a minor quibble, but worth mentioning. No solution is included, so you might want to order some unless you already have it on hand at home. This isn’t a perfect eyewash station, but it’s priced very fairly and I like it a lot. It’s a great device to have on hand in case of an emergency, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.4.5 stars

Quite happy with it. The station itself is rather large measuring at 11" x 10" with both bottles inserted, and it comes with mounting screws and drywall anchors. The plastic reservoirs on the bottles themselves are a bit stiffer than I was expecting, but you can still squeeze them with a certain amount of ease. You're obviously limited by the size of the water aperture anyway. Unfortunately, you have to lift them out of their respective mounts which isn't great in an emergency when you're stumbling around blindly and reaching for anything that could be of help. Also would've made sense to put the instructions on the mount itself in case you have someone else there to assist. It's not like you'll be doing any reading while panicking with stuff in your eyes. But the great part is that the reservoirs are pretty sizable so you can fit a good amount of liquid in there, and the water that comes out of the nozzles is a proper fountainy sprinkle. So despite all the parts essentially being made of plastic (besides the mirror), the station functions as promised. The only thing that could've been helpful are a few battery-powered motion-sensor LEDs above the mirror to improve the visibility when doing a self-inspection. I had to improvise one myself because I consider it an important addition, but I kinda knew that going in. Great for household use, especially in the garage or kitchen!

As far as eye wash stations, this is a low cost option. It does not come with eye wash, however, it does come with everything else needed for a station, including hardware, a foam backed sticker sign, and a reflective sticker mirror. Rather than an eye cup for rinsing, the bottles are meant to be squeezed to release the wash upwards, toward the eyes, and against gravity. The bottles themselves are thin walled, easy to squeeze, and have several small holes to allow the liquid to squirt up like many small fountains at the eye. Recommendations for eye flushing include continuous rinsing for 15 min. It seems unlikely that this station can provide 15 continuous minutes of rinsing, however this station is not going to be used at a job site. I plan to have it on hand in my garage to use as an emergency aid should the need arise at home. To meet the 15 min recommended rinsing time, I figure having some extra bottles of rinse on hand is a good idea as well.

The quality is good for a budget eyewash station and it was easy to mount on the wall. Note that the instructions say to replace the eyewash fluid every 90 days, I presume since there is no way to completely seal it when filled and ready for use. We solved this by keeping the eyewash solution in it's sealed bottle and inserted it in the holder on the other side (see photo). You do need to fill the applicator bottle before use so there would be a delay, but this way we don't need to remember to replace the fluid every 90 days. You can use the fluid brand we used (see photo), or just be sure to use a bottle with the right diameter to fit the holder. We mainly need the station for compliance, but if you are in an environment where it may be needed, I recommend you keep the applicator bottle filled and replacing the fluid every 90 days as indicated.

We have a shop that we worked out of at home. We have a fire extinguisher mounted in a highly visible location to prevent fires, plenty of gloves to protect our hands, and a med kit for anything in between.Having eye protection such as goggles is a given. But still even a small sliver of wood or metal can find their way into the eye.Thats where this comes in. Not only is it an eyewash kit, but it is an eyewash station. As mentioned in the listing, it does not come with solution. But eye wash solution is pretty cheap and can be ordered on Amazon or picked up from your local drugstore.Once I picked up 32oz of saline (16oz each), I tested it out with clean eyes. It works exactly as advertised. This is an excellent choice of emergency situations.

This is a very simple OSHA compliant eye wash station with two bottles (to be filled yourself with saline, water or other solution) and a wall mount bracket. The bracket and bottles have the usual basic signage and instructions for use. It should be mounted in a reasonably clean, conditioned, location. The price seems a bit steep for what is basically two plastic bottles and a holder with some stickers but it is reusable and should last indefinitely with the occasional solution change, and if you need it, you need it. A good addition to my workshop.

I got this eyewash station to keep on hand in case we have another incident at the school's Color Run.The Color Run is an annual event that gets set up on the field. There are a number of volunteers who throw colored corn starch AT the kids at they run laps to raise money for the school. 99% of the kids have a wonderful experience. A few don't like the powder on their face or eyes, which is completely understandable.Years past we've used bottled water to wash their eyes, but it's less than ideal. The water would come out too fast and they wouldn't get all the way clean. I like that these squeeze bottles do both sides at once. They center themselves by fitting around your nose. The bottles are bigger than the water bottles we had used, so they have a larger capacity that is meted out at a slower rate. The mirror is nice to have. So the person washing their eyes can check on themselves once they start to feel better. The holder is really meant to be wall mounted. I'd have like do see hooks instead of wall anchors included, so it could be pulled as a unit with the mirror and taken to an incident. Still, the bottles pop out easily. We're using distilled water. The instructions remind you to use an appropriate solution and change it every 90 days. If you're in a particularly dusty environment you'll want a cover or cabinet to keep the nozzles from filling with gunk.
