so many options for a portable highchair, or dining.I prefer the one without legs, that just attaches under the chair, and around the chair back.what is nice about this style, is that the sides of the chair, act as a "prevention" for child sliding too far to the left or to the right. but there are strap on dining seats that also have fold up sides - and I like that better. again, the difference of a strap on dining seat is that it does not come with a tray.so there are pros and cons.My intention was to have a toddler camping chair, but I didn't like that the child would always have to sit on the buckle when not strapped up.I can see how if camping, and not having a chair to strap a dining seat to, that this is a viable option.truly wish somehow could remove the buckle.a lot of "sag" in the seat as well.

This chair folds up nicely so it’s easy to store and keep as a backup or to use outside. We have this at grandmas house so we always have a booster seat ready for my toddler. It clips on easily and feels pretty secure. It is more like a camping chair, so the bottom isn’t firm, but good for occasional use.

We had one of these chairs for my eldest made by Summer Infant Baby. This one is on par with the name brand version. In fact, it’s nearly identical in its design and function. The only difference is the color and the harness. I love how portable and lightweight this chair is, making it a fantastic option for travel. With my eldest, I took it as a carryon and was able to use it at the airport for eating, as well as waiting at the gate. We used it at our Airbnb and at relatives’ homes. We’ve even used it camping and at the beach. It’s super versatile and easy to pop open and closed. The tray clip mechanism works well and once clicked on, stays in place. The pocket in the seat back is perfect for storing disposable bibs and a pack of wipes, as well as the storage bag when the chair is in use. The storage bag is awesome and allows it to be transported hands-free. Overall this is a quality toddler item that a busy family can’t live without.

The straps on this ride rather low, but it makes sense for balance purposes. My little guy is a wiggler, but it has stayed on all fours. My only gripe with this is the tray. It is a bit difficult to get in the chair with a kid in it. The posts have to be in the exact right spot for the tray slots to slide in, which is tricky.

I have been in the situation where I go to a restaurant and there are no more high chairs for my toddler. She doesn't sit still on my lap, so she has to stay in her stroller. That's not ideal when we want to eat with her. So I wanted a portable booster for just these situations. This will work, but it's not something I would use regularly.Pros:- Very portable. I can leave it on my trunk for when I need it.- Easy to use. Just press down on the front legs and attach the table. Then attach the back and bottom straps and tighten.- Secure belt with belt cover. Keeps my toddler in place. She doesn't seem to mind sitting in it.Cons:- You needle the table attachment to keep the booster open. This is what keeps it from folding back up.- The bottom part sags down with the weight of the toddler. My toddler is about 24lbs and she causes the seat to sag down by two inches. She sinks into the seat. The manual mentions a seat pad, but there is no seat pad that I can find.- Limited instructions. The bottom straps were not attached. It wasn't clear where to secure the straps to the booster so it could be secured to the main chair.- The straps attach to the booster by looping the nylon strap around the frame and through a metal ring. The metal ring is not continuous; it has a gap to allow you to slip the nylon strap through. But when the straps are not tightened (ie. When it's not yet secured to a chair), the loose nylon strap can slip back out of the gap in the ring. I suppose it's so that the straps can be easily removed when the booster is on the ground, but I feel a better securing mechanism would have been better (ie. belt straps, spring-loaded clips).Overall, it will be used when there isn't a high chair or booster available, but won't get regular use.

Small, lightweight, convenient! Installs onto most chairs quickly and easily. So lightweight and convenient! Adorable design.

Good quality build. Folds easily. The reason for three stars is that the tray is a little difficult to get on and it only has one position. Second is that I really wanted to use it more like a chair on the floor for a toddler rather than a feeding chair. The problem using as a chair for a toddler is that the straps for holding an infant in don't remove and therefore, there is a large center buckle in the seat that can't be removed.

This toddler camping chair is super cute. It's a great size - small and compact while also unfolding enough to comfortably support a kiddo. The buckles are sturdy and do a great job of keeping mine contained, and the tray is simple to put on and take off. It wipes clean well but can also be run through the dishwasher.
