When looked at under a magnifying glass, the extruded porous soaker hose is peppered with many tiny holes which, when under pressure, sweat or weep along the full length of the soaker hose. The porous soaker hose can be used in short lengths to water planter boxes, looped or circled around trees, or used for narrow plantings and vegetable gardens. The porous soaker hose can be connected into the drip tubing or micro tubing using 1/4" barbed fittings.

In exactly 30 days, the soaker hose had dried up and no water would soak out of the hose. I had the irrigation set to 30 minutes a day. Very surprised when my flowers started wilt. I used a pin to poke holes in the hose to get me through the summer, then I will throw it away. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I purchased this in June to replace all of the 3 year old drip line for all of my deck plants. There was plenty of water pressure, but the lines were drying out, and the plants were not getting enough water. These lines usually last 1-2 years, so I was fine with spending about 6 hours replacing all of lines. These worked perfectly, and everything worked just like it did when I originally installed it 2 years ago.Fast forward to the beginning of August, and I notice a lot of my plants were wilting, and leaves were becoming transparent. I'm in Georgia, and it gets hot, so I bumped up my watering to 10 minutes, twice a day. When I tested it, I was barely getting any water out of the drip lines, so I checked everything else in the system, and it all looked fine. Not really believing it could be the issue, but nothing else was making sense, so I replaced a few of the drip lines that I replaced 2 months prior, and watering worked perfectly. I ended up having to replace most of the drip lines again to fix the issue.Sadly, the ones that lasted 2 years were the same listing, so quality has gone down. Brand new lines that barely lasted 2 months are totally unacceptable. I'm hoping these will last the rest of this season, and I will replace all of them again next year with a different brand.

I like how I can lay it flat on the ground, or even bury it and it works. I was so tired of ruining spray drippers with my weed eater. These lay so low that I can't accidentally hit them. Yet, they are able to evenly distribute water to my plants. Excellent product.
