Under exterior exposure POR-15 Top Coat has exceptional long-term sheen and color retention. POR-15 Top Coat can be applied directly to cleaned bare metal substrates or previously painted surfaces, with no need for a primer or undercoat, and is formulated to form a robust barrier that sheds moisture to provide long-lasting protection. POR-15 Top Coat provides excellent adhesion and when used over POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating, works to provide a permanent barrier to corrosion.

Por-15 is the greatest paint over metal! First time I used the Safety Blue color . . . Very nice! The only negative is the crappy shipping. Someone threw six 1-quart cans in a 12-quart box with NO packing!!! All cans were dented and am not able to re-seal the cans. Had to pour remains into glass jars. If I didn't need it right away, I would have returned it all!!!

Ordered safety blue and when I got the package, color was way off from what was shown on the images prior to ordering.
