I used the por15 rust paint first 2 coats followed by 2 coats of the por15 top coat. It looks nice but the top coat was horrible to use and never fully dried in spots. You can not sray the top coat at all and brushing on the second coat it wanted to bubble. I think it looks great as long as you do not touch the surfaces you painted. For the money, time, prep work and effort its not worth it! Should have just sprayed the teailer with a good automotive paint and saved time money and headaches. I am worried that taking this back off the teailer or refinishing again will be a horrible job.

If you follow the instructions exactly, this stuff is amazing. I did a whole 18ft open car trailer underneath and top with one gallon. 17yr old car hauler is brand new. Remember, paint is the last process of any automotive project. A lot of Labor involved. At $150 a gallon do your prep.

Does just what it says; only issue is that it does dry quickly so only pour what you can use quickly; otherwise a great product

We use this as a topcoat for our dump trailers that were treated with Chassis Saver paint. Rust is a killer of our equipment. This paint looks good on the trailers, but you don't get that super glossy look over the Chassis Saver we use. You know that gloss look when you shoot good paint, such as Imron on metal or primer. Wasn't sure what to expect using POR15 Top Coat, but not disappointed with finish. Haven't tried shooting over primer or bare metal, since we are painting old equipment that's rusting well. Happy with paint, holding up well on trailers.

Paint is really thick it does take at least 4 days to fully cure depending on temp. I wanted to spray it out of a 2.0mm gun but im not even sure how it would lay out. I did use the POR 45004 with a 2.0 looks good and it dries faster. Its a bit more but its worth it. Besides that the paint is solid once fully dried it seems like it will last a long time.

I purchased this product to recondition the wrought iron railings leading up the front and rear stairs at my home and those on my second floor balcony. After ten years, the iron work were showing extreme weathering with some rust beginning to show. After careful surface prep, I applied POR-15 coating and covered with their Top Coat product to protect from the sun's UV light. Wow! What a difference! I think they look better than when they were originally installed! This product is truly awesome... I give it my best recommendation!
